That nano zooming software can definitly use some RTX 3080 acceleration and serious gsync. That tearing hurts my gamer heart... And maby intel should add IHS watercooling for its 11900k cpu for better temps. Nvidia proved power draw is irrelevant anyway. Aperently everyone but me gets free electricity. The swap from my current gpu to the 3080 would set me back a additional 300 bucks in power costs given that idle usage is the exact same...That makes thee actual product a lot more expensive.

love the show ! there is only 1 inconsistency bugging me though. All that paper (for reasons i can't really justify to myself, but there might be some i dont know)! of course, not a big deal, it just jumps in my face every time. You speak about the environment in a lot of your videos, i'm sure you have a laptop laying around ! have a great day !

Sigh, the review embargo pushback means that I won't be able to view actual reviews before the launch.
I guess I could still try and order one and then use the return policy if it turns out I've spent the money poorly, but I really dislike buying something before I know what I'm getting for my money.

Are they going the same route as with games?
Sell a normal version which is cheaper and doesnt have everything and a
special deluxe edition for more money, which is a complete edition (or should be)?

Would it not be interesting if AMD would drop back to 12 nm in a chiplet design to make the yields really high and thus drop the price?
I mean we can see with Intel 14nm that there is quite a bit of improvement capable while staying on lets say aged tech.

Looks like I m buying my rog strix 3080 blind then to make sure i get in on the first batch. Have to see if the 3090 is worth a purchase in the future. Desperate for a new card so can t risk missing out on a 3080 and always buy strix versions.

Damn, guess I should have done more with my direct die liquid cooling idea... As a mechanic I always thought it was weird dies didn't have coolant passages like an internal combustion engine. Guess I missed my shot at a billion dollars

So, Western Digital basically behaves like those shady Taobao graphics card sellers who sell their GTX 580s, labeling them as 1080Ti , and when you try to file a claim, they say 1080Ti is just a title .
