So my old 1080Ti will transform into a 6900XT in september/october 2021. Yum. P.S: at exactly the moment i'm writing this, in my country on one of the 3-4 major player's sites, the cheapest 3060Ti costs 550 euro; 3070 costs 780 euro; 3080 costs 1000 euro and a 3090 costs 1800 euro. THose are the cheapest options and none are in stock. AMD's lineup looks like this: refference 6800 is 700 euro; AIB refference is 750 euro; 6800XT AIB refference is 800 euro and AIB custom is 1040 euro. These are also the cheapest options and again NONE in stock. Enjoy.

Is this a joke? What happened to you AMD you used to be the value king. They're selling this thing for 350 more then their 6800xt when it's basically the same card? They're basically following the footsteps of Nvidia with the 3090 but at least that card gave more then double the 3080's vram and has qualities to it that go further then just gaming. This card is a serious disappointment. For 1000 compared to their 650 6800xt it almost looks like a scam.

I wonder how the AMD/NVidia in game performance will look a few years down the line given that both PS5 and XBox are using AMD hardware, which in turn makes developers optimize their software to run on AMD hardware.... Up to now NVidia was the only game in town in terms of top performance. This may change as developers focus on AMD hardware.

The overclocking results with increased in set clock no changing the results and the temps staying at 96C TJ, probably mean this card will run much better underwater.... Please, do a comparison of the new high end cards overclocked underwater, it should be very interesting....

True question : Why would anyone go for the new AMD cards as they are priced nearly the same (except for the 6900XT) as Nvidia cards but don't handle neither DLSS nor RTX, why would someone pay the same price for a card that do less ? Am I missing something ?

Can someone explain why the 3090 doesn t get the benefit of OC on the benchmark graphs , but the 6900XT does? Maybe I missed that part. Edit: ...especially since all cards will be way over MSRP for the foreseeable future...thanks

Good luck with the surgery Steve! Hope for a speedy recovery, but take your time and don't burn yourself out! You all at GN have been stomping through all these launches and you all deserve a bloody good holiday

Yea let the idiots buy 2000 3090 and 500 60 class cards. 999 isn't a deal this is just what the 6800xt should have been for 599. Amd doesn't have the features to compete with Nvidia in price.
