Why am I not surprised.
Knowing the moral and ethical temperature at MSI ... it's a no brainer that they would actually purchase an award, with cash, and then promote it as a product selling feature? This would absolutely be, accurate MSI modus operandi, option #1.
I would also bet the bean-counter that came up with this scam, received a bonus for 'synergistic, out of the box thinking' for their assistance to defer attention away from the mediocre case they threw money at. Even if they fixed it in the next version, because of the above, I still wouldnt buy it.
At least by watching this video, someone reputable and free from the MSI cycle of evil, is making honourable money off of this product by reviewing it, even if Steve doesn't have much positive to say about it.
My MSI boycott continues, as does my GN sub.

This case need rev.2.. to improve much things and also the fan clearance from glass and also to move vertical mount for air cooled GPUs. In my opinion.. the ASUS ROG Helios or Fractal Design 7 is much better case instead this MSI. In case of design, the MSI is very nice case. But I don't understand TOP fans flipped to blow the air to the case if you have mounted radiator.. it will overheat. So the is no airflow in this case. This case just need a fix to be much better and usable.

I got the 500g because i like the way it looks. Crammed a arctic freezer ii 280 in the top and, needless to say, it works ok
Also love the hinged side panel. so sick of thumb screws for side panels ugh
Only thing that really got me with this case, for some god forsaken reason, they decided to make it only fit certain 200mm fans.... I couldnt fit nf-a20's in the front or top ffs

MSI has given us a case I'd expect Thermaltake to make. You could call it Thermaltake Syndrome. Making a product that has the potential to be great but ends up being terrible What's worse is this is MSI. Not Thermaltake! This is a company that has it pretty good in almost every market in the PC building community. Disappointing

I'm not surprised this case is a POS airflow wise, I just don't get it how such a flawed product makes to production. I've owned a Nox Coolbay 12 or 14 years ago, everybody knew why front mesh and dual 120mm intake was cooler than steel chassis. And we only had 75/100w CPU and GPU.

G'day Steve,
I think MSI sent you this case to test for performance testing on purpose, but you got the testing procedure all wrong,
With that Thermal Solution you should have been testing to see if it can cook Tater-Tots on the PSU Shroud during a LN2 Live Stream with Joe

6:24 thats one reason why I love my Corsair Carbide 400C, and one reason why I haven't gotten a case that has a TG side panel. However, while a handle on a side panel is not anything new (look up Dell OptiPlex7020), I'm glad to see a handle integrated into a glass side panel.

Damn, Steve's roasts just keep on coming. I'd have some sympathy for the designer(s) if it was their first crack at it, but when he mentioned speaking to the company about this case already and points to fix and they still haven't...they deserve it. Grill 'em, Steve.

I had no idea that the IF award did not hold any meaning at all. From now it will stand for shady business as well as a bad product (or at least bad enough that the manufacture don t believe it could win a real competition).

Hate those damn clips. It should be a slide lock fit with 1 machine screw or a clip similar to how most of the sides of cases where you had to slide the side back before it would pop off after removing the fasteners
