This piece of PCB is really low tech, I don't see any part which should be hard to produce it in the '80s
The problem is that this quality of design should not exist at all!
How did they ended up design with this, is already unforgivable
Just look on a simple mainboard from the last 40 years.
Good that they are trying to make it good, but still...

I sometimes wonder how this stuff ends up getting through because I design PCBs for my own use I often do a lot of final checks before ordering them via usually JLCPCB
EDA software often has a tool called DRC, design rule check which will point out any problems i.e overlapping parts, unconnected, parts or traces being too close, etc.

Imagine that. Doing your customers justice yields positive feedback and promotion even after a considerable issue with your product. It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. Or maybe it just takes a committee of clueless board executives to screw things up.

I ve been thinking of doing a case upgrade. I currently using a define R5. I m probably going fractal again. I like knowing if things go wrong I don t have to be as worried as normal. I hate when companies treat the customers like they re taking money from them.

Can we stop relating this to how NZXT got treated? It's Fractal Design, this'd of been fixed either way, just quietly. If anything, the PR department sees an opportunity to make normal QA work free PR.

I know that I will be sticking with Fractal products more in the future.
I was happy with my old Define R4 in the past and am on Meshify 2 at the moment.
GLad to hear these things from Fractal.

I'm running a Fractal case, and I literally sent them feedback on how great their response to this was. Good behaviour, good brand. The case is quality anyway, but this really seals the deal!

I can't wait for this to be distributed en masse. The Torrent was the perfect case for what I want to do with my watercooling loop, and it is the last puzzle piece I need to finish it

I m glad to see at least one company take the initiative and fix a problem so quickly without outside convincing. Definitely be glad to by another case from them in the future.

Fractal identified a problem, fixed it, and shipped out the solution before GIGABYTE even admitted they had a problem, which required several months AND videos to bring to light.
