I just want a mid tower case to mount a 360mm rad in the front and the top simultaneously. So far the only option on the market for that is the 5000D - barely. There's perhaps 2mm of clearance, which isn't comfortable. Disappointing that Lian-Li didn't add this, despite adding the ability to mount a 120mm fan in the rear exhaust.
I sent perhaps 20 daily emails to Lian-Li's product suggestion page before getting a response, to which they said they were sent to the engineering department. I know I sound like a selfish know-it-all douche, but I don't think it's too much to ask, personally.

that upright gpu mount is ass, they definitely shouldve had a pci slot mouted to the bottom of the case so they could run that huge wire wad behind the motherboard. i absolutely hate motherboard wires like the 24 pin and fan wires. i have a decent idea on how to totally hide cables, use 180 degree adapters on the plugs, that will make the cables plug in through the rear of the case. all you would see is a black box shape of the adapter being plugged into the motherboard. thats cable management lol.

i still don't understand why they bothered with all this modularity in the first place, they should have made a bigger O11 Mini that case is perfect in every aspect, just make it bigger.
i will be ordering the Evo since i was waiting for it for so long, but i really don't see why they thought they needed to do all of this. not a big a fan or flipping and doing and that most of the buyers will end up using it in it's normal configuration.

I wish more case manufacturers would do the one single front panel connector like NZXT has been doing for a while. I've done builds in three different cases (NZXT H510i, MainGear, and Corsair 4000D) and with the Maingear and Corsair cases I hated the Medusa that was the cables for the front panel stuff the most.
Seriously, that one single connector changes your life and makes me upset that more expensive cases refuse to do that more.

Genuine attempts innovation like this should definitely be applauded.
Maybe not necessary to chuck all your money at all the different parts, but does bring up fantastic ideas. How about cases with more customizability like being able to move around that front I/O wherever you want?
Exciting ideas, especially if it ever trickles down into the mid-range market rather than this more extreme pricing.

I wish I could do the inversion with my Phanteks P400A, just because in my situation I have to have my PC with the tempered glass side panel facing the wall because of how my bedroom is (So I get to stare at the other white side panel all the time instead of my components and their RGB lights...).

I have an older MATX case from Thermaltake, Core v21 that has a similar component layout and strategy for Inverted builds. However since it is a cube, it can be oriented with the motherboard horizontal also. Downside, the clear panel is acrylic instead of TG. Upside It comes with 200mm front fan.

OH GOD NO!
That's just gross with the GPU mounted like that.
Also, assuming Lian Li expects you to buy all the accessories is an outright ridiculous thing to say. Like in cars, they are OPTIONS. Holy sht!
