Question: Since this series started last year have there been updates to the prices to reflect the growing costs in hardware purchases? I like Asus a lot (I buy their laptops and motherboards exclusively), but I recognize the superior setup and cost for performance the ABS and Lenovo systems offer. However, as inflation in the US has gone through the roof, costs have fluctuated significantly than when these systems were originally tested and it would be interesting to see if the systems still hold that same value in today's market, for better or worse.
Edit: Newegg has the upgraded ABS challenger with the 11400F for 1150 (price increase of 150, may be negligible with the new CPU performance). Per Lenovo's website the (now discontinued) Legion Tower 5i was last priced at 1460, a staggering 400 price increase. With this data the Legion's actual cost for performance dips below the ASUS unit (not significantly, but worth mentioning) while the ABS unit continues to offer good value in comparison

I enjoyed the review as always, BUT I think your price comparisons are a slippery slope under the current circumstances.
You use the price at the time of purchase for your comparisons, which under normal circumstances would not be a big problem but the big fluctuations in Gpu prices also translate to prebuilts (though not nearly as extreme). This means that some systems have become more expensive or cheaper since the review and their price to performance ratio has changed.
I get that you can not adjust the prices every time you review a product and I do not expect that. But when comparing the performance of the systems you heavily lean into the price, without mentioning that these might have changed since the review and with that the relative price to performance ratio. It would be nice If you could mention the fact that the prices might be outdated or not lean into them as heavily.

You know, one thing (among many) thats crazy to me is the coolers. I got a Freezer 34, was 23 , and does a great job keeping mid end CPUs super cool while being completely inaudible. Yet in 1500 Dollar build, they just stick one of those aluminium garbage cans atop of the CPU? And some pathetic 80mm Fan? They could stick a single 140 or so over the open side, and you'd get actually goo and quiet thermals, which even casual buyers should be happy about. Its almost as dumb as saving the

Well damn.... I didn't know this computer was new... believe it or not I e-wasted one a few weeks ago.
I don't remember the exact issue but we just took all the customers parts out of the case and put them in a new case and it worked fine again.
It might of been we had to swap something into the case or upgrade something and it just wasn't behaving for some reason.
I have the leds sitting on my desk >__

I find it a bit sus that every prebuilt you get comes with all these issues.
Not defending these companies but I ve bought many prebuilts. Some for me and some for others. Never had an issue. Especially this bad. The worse thing I encountered was 1 loose cable for the RGB light strip. Not a big deal. Love your vids but I swear it s like y all beat these with a bat then review them.

So I see ASUS is making them more like Dell and HP Compaqs used to be, a pain in the ass to work with and minimal to no airflow besides what your CPU cooler and GPU fans are generating in vain.
When you said the loose screw was the only major issue I feel like you forgot the case design is a major issue too, especially at a 1400 price point.

How about look for one that looks good to test. That's what we are looking for. Something for those of us that can't get a mid-range gpu for a decent price, to just buy a prebuilt. Something with a 3070 or 6800 that is good. I've got a an 8350 with an R9 and would like to upgrade, but finding a gpu is all but impossible.

How about look for one that looks good to test. That's what we are looking for. Something for those of us that can't get a mid-range gpu for a decent price, to just buy a prebuilt. What really really sucks right now for consumers is exactly this. 1400 for a b450, 3700x, and 1660ti is a god damn travesty. Anyone buying ANY prebuilts right now is just DUMB (sorry) unless you're in a tough spot . Its shameful. If the world markets governed themselves by Japanese standards, they would have committed seppuku in 2020.
