Just a thought, not a critique: normally when you want a quiet air compressor you go for a screw compressor. You usually don't need a noise insulated case for those because the air intake is the loudest part of the machine, depending on how it's done. But then I don't know what the actual price difference is to an equivalent piston compressor. Piston compressors are a lot easier to get hold of, since you can literally get them at any hardware supplier, while screw compressors tend to be a bit more of speciality product. They're often used in labs, though, and for things like trains and buses because of the low noise and no vibration.

99% of us live in the habital part of the world with either heating or AC-cooling.
The only time something like that would be needed to test a fan is to simulate conditions on arctic bases, in a tent in a desert or high up in mountains where air-preassure is very low.

I hope the machine doesn't make too much noise so you can take sound pressure levels measurements under load as well.
Personally I don't care that much if a fan is good, as long as it's good enough, lasts a reasonable time and doesn't make a huge racket.
I rather have a fan that's 2x quieter than a fan that pushes 2x the air.

Is it Proudly Made in Australia ? Couldn t help noticing the plugs inserted into the matching power strip - those plugs that hurt like hell when you step on one in bare feet in the middle of the night. (The Proudly Made in Australia is from swing tags that were in Aussie made products back when I grew up in Oz in the 80 s)

Okay I still want to understand why they have the decals covered up. What sensitive information is being obscured by us, the viewers that matter? Is it for legal reasons? Is it to prevent other reviewers from using the same equipment? Is it to prevent marketers from knowing what you're using?

Im really looking forward to this!
Very interested in knowing fan performance at lower speeds, as they always seem to rate it at max speed. So you never know how it actually works if you want to run it a bit more silent. So thats something i would LOVE to know. Just cause im curious AF. :D

Ive dealt with hundreds, if not thousands of business grade machines, and actually, when it comes to business grade hardware, I would take Dell pro over HP pro almost every time, business grade hardware is a completely different market than gaming/consumer

When you get that running, care to test the difference between stock case fans vs. aftermarket fans? I personally am Interested in how well the Fractal Design stock case fans work, given that they actually sell those same non-PWM fans aftermarket.
