Cooler Master Makes Meshify TD500, Fixes Terrible Hyper 212 Mount

Cooler Master's CES 2020 suite had some updates to cases and coolers, mostly moving toward mesh for all its enclosures, and also has new mounts for the Hyper 212. Sponsor: Buy Gigabyte's X570 Master (Amazon - Cooler Master has been bitten by the mesh bug once again, but has also adapted parts of the Fractal Meshify look. The new mesh-fronted cases are cooled with ARGB fans and accompanied by updated paneling on old tooling. The tower coolers -- including the Hyper 212 and V8 -- also got updates, and a new CLC has an LCD in it for too much money.

I'm typing this from a 5 year old workstation inside a Cooler Master HAF 922. I have no issues with this case but I'd like to build a new workstation/gaming system. Is there a similar modern case with modern features like USB-C/USB-3. x ports, a 5. 25 front bay for optical drive/modules, great airflow and big enough for large CPU heatsinks and GPUs? Oh, and no need for RGB. (preferably none. If it's above 200 then no dice, I'll just do a Mountain Mods case or rack mount it. The Cooler Master cases shown look better but I still need an optical drive and front bay modules. I'd reuse the HAF 922 I have but I'm just going to retire this system as a whole for a headless server.

Do we need more crappy CPU coolers to flood the already over saturated market? If you can't beat the Noctua NH-D15, DarkRock 4 or even the Macho 5. Then just stop! And of course, more of the same cases. You can bury an entire nation with all the crappy zero in design variety cases outthere. And now moa crappy designed cases are entering the family of crappy cases. Why do i have to design and build my own PC Case from scratch, with my own hands, just to get what i want? There is so much trash outthere, its not even funny anymore!

Im getting ready to build an Enthusiast grade gaming Pc. Qnd the first thing on my shopping list is a case with certain features. The closest Iv seen so far being the Luxe2, External fill and drain ports to connect my loop to, space for a second system to handle streaming and hosting servers, USB3, possibly interested in vertical mounting my Vidya cards, a glass side panel, lots of space for a custom loop, hopefully without much trouble, that kind of stuff. Someone 1ups the Luxe 2 and il be all up in that brand

Normal brain: buy 4th fan for rear exhaust Galaxy brain: take 3rd front fan off and remount it in the rear for free My case came with 1 front fan and 1 rear fan and worked fine, I'm sure you can pull one of the THREE front fans here and use it as an exhaust without compromising fresh air intake. Also oh man the good ol' 212 x-bracket. I installed that PoS years ago and never wanted to touch it again with a 10-foot pole. I'm pretty sure I can still wiggle it on the CPU if I try.

Interesting thing to note on the Hyper 212 Evo change: I purchased a 212 Evo late last year and they had added small plastic spacers you put between the standoffs and the board. This change dropped my CPU temps by 3 degrees compared to the previous version, and i've yet to see anyone talk about it. Is this well known? The installation guides on CM's website don't even mention the spacers at all and it seems like it flew over everyone's heads.

These videos about Cases are sad to watch, FOR ME. I live in Brazil, for shipping and tax reasons those things get here for like 4x the price. CPUs and GPUs are generally well priced, now RAMs and Cases are priced as if they were bathed in gold when they get here. I import the RAMs in a few ways, but a case is just impossible. Also, sellers simply gave up on bringing premium cases, we only get the shitty ones.

#ASKGN There is a guy who commented on my 3950x cinebench video VERY concerned about the voltages of Ryzen 3000 cpus at stock settings. To the point that he assures me running them stock that they will heavily degrade within a year. Any thoughts on Ryzen 3000 voltages bricking units within months to a year? This guy is very much convinced my CPU will degrade and die very soon.

I can't even say how many 212 Evo/Hypers I've installed in cases. It was the best bang for the buck cooler for years. While the X bracket wasn't optimal, it was better than they Hyper's bracket. The Hyper had a better bracket for Intel chips, but would only mount for upwards exhaust on AMD platforms, which was obnoxious if you didn't want to do it that way.

Honestly my coolermaster aio is probably the next thing I'll change on my computer. temps are fine but by god is it loud and gurgly. the other day it sounded like it was leaking. it wasn't but scared the shit out of me. Kinda made me just not want to buy any cooler master products again and definitely not an aio.

Great, so more trend following triple-front-fan cases in a desktop case market already saturated with triple-front-fans. Why don't these case manufacturers introduce a variant having two front fans and a couple of 5. 25 bays for people who need/prefer a more functional productive desktop PC case?
