In Win's New Case Costs 14, 500, But Lower-End Cases Need Work

we're looking at In Win's new Butterfly signature series case, the In Win B1 mini-ITX chassis, and three mid-towers by the names of C200, 215, and 216. In Win also has a new closed-loop liquid cooler (CLC / AIO) with a very tall CPU block that runs two pumps in parallel.

That 14, 500 case looks horrible. If I had to design a case that would cost that much, I'd just use a lot of metals, like magnesium and titanium and stuff like that. It could also have carbon fiber. And make a computer case that was actually good for regular use. Of course it could have moving parts and stuff, but it would be functional. Like, make it so that it's more sealed off when the air temperature inside is low and then make it open up as the temps inside start to rise. The case they made is more like a show piece for something exactly like CES instead of being something usable.

Other than the 'breathing' animation, that's obviously a chrysanthemum, but I guess they don't expect western guys to know what that is? It's also hideous. The animation is jerky, the petals should be white diffusers, and the case should be solid. Looks like something a 20 year old mechatronics student threw together. The ITX case has bad airflow, and the ATX ones betray their budget price. The CLC could do just as well with one good pump, I'd bet. They're just pandering to the sect who thinks you need a D5 or DDC on full blast for 2 blocks and 420mm of rad.

This is the best place I know of to go besides the very scarce articles I found on reddit that did not work for me. My ASUS ROG CROSSHAIRS HERO VII WIFI gave me the Q-Code 02 and I looked it up in the manual and put that in google. wow. I m amazed. I could not fix it no matter what I did for troubleshooting so I shipped it back. Anyone ever been able to figure this out on their own?

hmm, 2 pumps. I am almost curious why they need that much fluid pressure when everyone else gets by with a single low-pressure pump. (Sarcasm detected) I almost wonder if the cold plate and/or rad is more material than opening just like InOven's case front panels, requiring that much pump power to force water through the loop. Great overview Steve and crew. B)

When AI droids walk the Earth on their own this is what a cheap droid street hooker would look like. Looks like worst looking case of 2020 is all locked up. That's. That's just. Ok honestly that is some of the worst integrated tech bling for more money I have seen in a long while. Thanks for showing though! Nice vid.

Now that more companies are giving the middle finger to Asetek and putting the pumps on the end tanks of the rad, it would be nice to see them start using thicker rads like the new Arctic units. but with blocks that don't have useless fans in them and/or look like something that came out of the early 00's.

The 14. 5k is probably because it's probably considered a work of art. Remember, art does not have to be attractive to be considered art and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That said, even if I won Powerball, I'd never buy that thing.

They stole one of those Sky net satellites that Elon Musk is sending to low orbit and sell it for 14, 500. But whatever it can do. its way overpriced for its technicalities and for sure not a piece of art to justify the price neither.

That looks Really crappy, Imho Inwin have never made a good case, id rather buy Lian Li's Desk with Tempered Glass Case & 2x Rtx Titans, 1099xe All together in a watercooled loop. No Amd! Intel & Nvidia Fanboy i am!

im amazed. Vertical GPU cases are garbage designed and i dont understand why they even wanted to show em off. And that 14500USD one looks so bad i dont even have any words. Id only get it if it was thrown after me.
