Strange Liquid Cooler from AliExpress Alseye Infinite i360 Dual-Pump AIO

The Alseye Infinite (or Infinity, depending on which page you visit) i360 liquid cooler is a dual-pump design, making it one of the most unique AIO coolers on the market. The extra pump could reduce or increase points of failure, depending how you look at it, but it's supposed to act as a push-pull setup. In addition to benchmarking and reviewing the i360 vs. some of the best liquid coolers for CPUs on the market, we also tear down the Alseye Infinity to see how it's assembled. It's a fun, weird design.

The noise levels IMO are pretty irrelevant seeing as my desktop isn t 6 inches from my ear and my PC case is closed not too mention other noise such as when I m gaming or watching other content far exceeds any noise any PC fans in my case make. Even outside fans / AC noise is loader and generally amounts to just white noise in the background.
So rather the PC fans are at 100% or 0% it makes no difference, the performance is what matters. The noise issue is so overblown when your talking about PC fans IMO unless for some reason you ear is right next to your desktop and you just want to sit there in total silence doing nothing..All in all this noise matrix when it comes to PC fans is just way over emphasized.

I blows my mind when decent sized companies don't have a native speaking person review websites/advertisements/Product Info for the language its written. I mean I'm 100% positive they could have found a truly fluent English speaking person to help edit stuff for 100 if not less, witch would help sell more products. I'm sorry if I'm reading something that is clearly not important enough for them to make sure the advertisement is coherent or even mostly correct then it makes me think they don't put money into the products themselves even if its not the case and they make good products. Im sure this happens for most major languages, but with the internet today it should be very rare IMO.

I can definitely vouch for the benefits of the stiffer tubing. I have an old Cooler Master Nepton 280L that I bought back in 2013 or so (before Asetek sued everyone and it was pulled from the market) that has been in use 24/7 since it was purchased, with no notable degradation to cooling capacity. Despite it being off the market for half a decade when socket AM4 came out, an adapter kit was made available and the cooler has remained useful without ever needing to be refilled or serviced in any other way. Used it on everything from the FX-8350 I bought it for to a 1700x to a 3900x to a 5600x. Getting a decade of use out of unmaintained mechanical components is crazy imo.

Wow! find it hard to believe how much you messed up getting that pump module apart. Come on, it's hardly rocket science. You need to do much better than this.
You might have some decent test equipment now, but if you don't step up your game with the testing you're going to look incompetent at best. It's frustrating because it's apparent that there are members of the team that are competent in testing, which is great and I look forward to some serious in-depth testing and methodology from you.

All the comments about standardized fans have a point.
Although at that point you're basically just rating how beefcake the radiator is, and Arctic's Liquid Freezer IIs would win everything .
Speaking of, I currently have a Liquid Freezer II installed in a case that it was technically too thick to fit into, so I had to replace the fans with slimlines.
I know I'm giving up some of its performance, but it still seems to run quiet and have no problem keeping my 2700X cool.

im using that arctic cooler you showed in the 360 size
my ryzen 7 5800x3d runs from 45c to 90c on it (thats with pbo2 under tuner undervolt using a -30 offset to keep it cooler)
i got it since it seemed to be the cooler you always used for your testing
i used the am5 holes (like the instructions say to do for x3d chips)
was i wrong to use that mount or should i have done the am4 mount and would i see lower temps if i did?

Wonderful piece of kit for the price. Too bad they couldn't get the display straight. I would love to see AIOs tested with popular fans used by people actually building systems. That would provide excellent data on which coolers are better without considering the fans they come with. I always use my own fans to match my build so knowing which coolers are better regardless of fans is something I would be very interested in.

Trying entirely too hard on the engineering side for them to not care enough to pick a name and use it consistently, that's a big fail on many areas. Huge amounts of excessive engineering effort for no actual benefits, very little maintainability vs. the competition, and then they can't even get their staff to be consistent about the name of the product. I would definitely not trust the brand much on this.

Looking at the comparison charts for 100% fan speed, I noticed the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420mm is on there twice. Both at the same noise level, same fan speed, but two different temperature readings. Does anyone know why this is? It seems to be identical configurations for the Liquid Freezer II 420mm, but one is at 46.5 over ambient and the other is higher, at 48.2 over ambient.

The conclusion of this video made no sense.
You say they are at best about equal with their competitors and at worst a little bit below for the noise normalized results , but in your nn testing it's literally the best 360mm AIO you ever tested lol (excluding the push pull EK)
You guys really know what you're doing? Do you need help with interpreting numbers or?

So one of the things to consider when reviewing these AIOs is using a standardized set of fans so you know how well the water cooling aspect of the solution works vs the whole package. If you could get ground breaking performance from an AIO just by replacing the fans with a high airflow/static pressure solution that would be really helpful to know.

i love seeing more companies create something we have not seen before or exactly like this. I love the innovation with the dual pumps ! very interesting to see how this stands up over time. I did however notice some particles on the copper fin stack that worry me slightly. I would think they didnt flush the rad quite well enough.
reply

These tests need one more chart where you swap out the included fans for a mid-range option (a standard set of fans you test on all the rads). I would have liked to see if the dual pump actually made a difference but these charts are entirely dependent on the fans, not really the whole cooler.

Two comments before they get lost in the 6000 to follow: First, I like it. I think the turbine appearance is cool. I wish more interesting looking air cooler were available too. Second, I think Mike should shave the chin and go full Wolverine. It's a good look for him. Own it, brother!

Looks decent, but the overall construction has a certain Aliexpress jank about it-- overbuilt in some places and slightly cheap in others, and fans probably made with looks ahead of function. For the same price as a more familiar brand, I probably wouldn't get this, personally.
reply

That's a terribly high min RPM for the fans, so it therefore must be loud when idle. My system's often around idle (with spike that thermal mass can deal with) and fans remain at 400RPM most of the time (can hold 300 but 400 means far less need to ramp for fatter spikes) on D15.
reply

That was quite the disassembly video! I've rebuilt hundreds of pumps, various designs all kinds of applications, this one is in need of a K.I.S.S. lesson. Using a dual pump in series for such a low pressure system is such a gimmick, way too complicated in this case!

Steve, I have a favor to ask.
Would it be possible to revisit the Artic Freezer II 120 AIO?
With one and then 2 fans?
Compare it to the Peerless assassin?
Reason I ask is because people insist that it's a POS compared to all current air coolers.

reply

Wow, impressive how complicated that is. Just like you said im surprised it doesn't cost more b/c that must be a pain to put together.
I have a request for you guys at GN, the Sythe Fuma 3 just came out, can you please test that for us soon? Thx in advance.

reply

Is this one of those products that's made from parts of another product? Where a company will have extra unused parts for some other application then they sell them at a deep discount to another company. In this case that other company was a PC cooling brand.
