12 Fans, 0 Airflow: One of the Worst Cases We've Reviewed Abkoncore Ramesses 780

This case includes 12 case fans stock, but the case is like a black hole for airflow. We're reviewing the Abkoncore Ramesses 780, which is one of the worst-designed cases we've reviewed The Abkoncore Ramesses 780 (R780) is a massive full-tower case that's outfitted with 12 fans stock, but most of them blow into walls. We're completely baffled by how anyone could actually design this intentionally, then still brag about how great the airflow and cooling is. This case, despite being large, is so inefficiently laid-out that its actual usable space is comparable to much smaller enclosures, so it doesn't even win in the just be large department. The fans were even custom-designed to mount in the bottom while showing the LEDs clearly, but they still can't overcome the panel limitations for air access.

Hello steve..I just built my first system..Let me say its not as easy as it looks..Every time I kept fixing one problem five more would pop up.Here is my line up Thermatake LvL 20 GT, Ryzen 9 3900X, ROG 5700xt, ROG Hero, ROG 1200w Thor, and 1tb sabrant rocket..Now on the water cooler is the ROG round 360 rgb 360 one..On the fans and the raditor I have mounited on the wall facing like the motherboard..Now if I point the fans going in they look kinda dum but I placed them facing out drawing the heat out..Does it make a big deal one way or the other? I mean it is a 360 raditor and its not like I am at temps that are really really high..Thank you for your time...

hey steeve, i see that you have those new lian li fans on this case. i just want to know if those fans are better than their BR digital (bora digital) one... beucause i bought 6 of those and they all failed in 2 month. my case is the lian li 011D XL Rog which is a very nice case for water cooling but i still wanted to have a good air flow from bottom to the top. don't get me wrong, the BR digital were good until they become the loudest fans i ever had. so i was wondering if those UNI fan SL120 were more durable at least before they become noisy.

To be honest... I've long been wondering why NO ONE ( no one remarkable like Noctua, Corsair, etc... ) does an inverted Fan for use in like a Twin Tower Cooler where the Intake uses Fan A and the exhaust uses Fan B and BOTH being visually pleasing to look at. Analogous situation when installing them on a Top Mounted Radiator where you want the Fans to be visible from the outside rather than the inside which normally leads to a plain view on the back of the Fan which is mostly _meh..._

Speaking of BitFenix, are they even doing anything interesting these days? I remember early on they had some interesting cases, like their lan case with the handle, then got popular with that one cubic case that hand handle feet, then they did that portal case, then just went back into the shadows for a bit, with only a few things that make them come out of the shadows, like that silent case they tried making, or bad reviews.

Considering I'll probably be reusing my current case for my next build, which will likely be next year, I thoroughly enjoyed this case review. More so than the proper, serious cases. It was entertaining and perplexing. I truly wonder what goes through the minds of people who design and make stuff like this.

I'm no engineer or techno-wiz, but I've built enough computers to know that cold air must somewhere enter the case and hot(ter) air must somewhere exit the case.
One would assume that a tech company that designed a case like that would have grasped the basic concept of airFLOW ?

Steve is having a Cooler Master H500 moment.
I have no idea that case was readily available in Tokopedia.com. Considering Abkoncore had been making bad to okay products (on the budget side), this one is just... wow.
I never seen him this impressed in the last 2 years.

This was a neat idea of a case, but implemented so badly that the crazy design did nothing but cost more. Maybe they will learn something from this and improve in the future. 10/10 for creativity/interesting-ness, 0/10 for execution.

Even with your current beef with MSI, you refused to subject their parts to your standard stress test because thermals got so bad immediately....
That says basically everything you need to know about how bad this case is.

It's should be about 270 USD or 230 euro
The good thing is there actually no online sales have been made which we should be glad no one scammed for outrageous prices for this abomination
