we will show you how to convert a word document into HTML.
HTML is the standard language for web pages to be displayed in a web browser. Lets say you are working on a document and want to save it as a webpage.
You can use the web page filter option when converting a word document to a webpage. This way, Word convers the document into HTML by keeping the content, style instructions, and other relevant information.
Lets get started.
With the word document opened up, Click on the File tab on the top left corner of the screen.
From here, click on the Save As option.
From here, lets click on the Browse option.
With the pop-up window opened up, move to the Save As Type section and open up the drop-down menu.
From here, you can either select the Web Page or the Web Page, Filtered option.
The Web Page format uses Microsoft Office specific tags to format the Web page to maintain all formatting features present in the original word document.
The Web Page, Filtered option uses regular tags to format the Web page. Some formatting features from the original word document will be lost when saving in this format.
Lets select the web page option for now.
You can use the page title section to enter the text that would be displayed in the web browsers title bar when the web page is opened.
For that, click on the Change Title button and lets type in the title. Once done, simply click on OK to close the pop-up window.
With that done, simply click on Save. Now, lets move to the location where we saved the file, and over here you can see that the word document has been saved as an HTML document.
To see the webpages HTML code, lets open the document in a web
browser. With the page opened up, lets right-click the page and click on the View Source option.
And over here, you can see the HTML code of the web page Date: 2023-07-08
