Although I accept this article is well-intentioned and has clearly helped lots of people having problems with their device, for me, with a device that simply says The Home screen isn't available, it effectively translates into English as Access the menu system you can't access and select one of the options you can't access from the menu you can't access :(

I keep getting the same message - home not available - nearly every day. I go in, clear the cache of my apps and then it’s available. The fire stick is only using 1.48 GB of 5.33 GB available. So, this makes no sense to me. It’s annoying to have to clear the cache of every app (we don’t have that many!) so frequently. Any tips

I don't understand. I'm sure these methods are wonderful, but you need a working firestick to use them. If it was working I wouldn't need to fix it. It must be me, since everyone else here says it's great. But I just don't get it. My firestick is literally doing NOTHING. So how can I use my firestick to fix my firestick

Nothing working here. Tried all the steps. Rebooted. Input passwords. Unplugged and waited. ...... I'm really HATING whoever designed this garbage. Give me back my cable box and 2 remotes any day. I missed the Superbowl because I couldn't get the Fire stick to talk to the Teksavvy modem.

Makes total sense. My firestick is unresponsive so sure I can just click the settings button. Give me a break. It's UNRESPONSIVE. I can't click ANYTHING. Not even going to waste my time watching options 2 and 3. So dum. And oh yeah there is no power button on my firestick.

I restarted it the other day and it completely stopped working. Called Amazon after I troubleshoot it myself and still nothing. Ordered a new remote and nothing. Can't figure out what the problem is. TV just keeps saying no signal no matter which hdmi I stick it in.

I can't even get into my Firestick. It just loads and then shows all the languages it supports that change every few seconds. I've tried numerous things, called customer support.
Do you know a fix when i initially just trying to setup a newly bought device

This ain’t covering if my fire stick won’t work at all. I can’t do any of these options because my remote won’t work for me to go into any of these settings, but it’s detecting the remote when I take my batteries out of it

Press back with arrow sign and right on the circle pad at the same time for 10 to 15 sec. It will reboot back to original settings. Hope that helps anyone having same issue with mine settings wont even pull up

My problem is I can't use my remote to go to settings or any of those other places on my TV it does not work at all and I'm using the fire stick so I cannot do it with my TV

Like everything loads but when I try watching a movie it either says no links found or what not and I use cloud stream WHAT SHOULD I DO !!
