I bought this device for my office TV because even though I already have a couple of Apple TVs I wasn't going to spend $180 for the small TV in that room just so I could get HBO Max on that TV. Honestly, I'm not that big of a fan of the device. I have had to reboot it several times because it freezes and the power button on the remote will only work some of the time. Also, while the setup process wasn't difficult for me it was a bit more involved than any of the other devices I've tried out. When HBO Max comes to Roku and Fire TV I will be selling this device.

You failed to mention this is locked in HDR mode (Rec 2020) which makes watching SDR content unwatchable in my opinion! I would also say that 95% of the content one may watch from HBO Max Sling or for that matter Netflix and Hulu is all in SDR! Tivo did say a fix was coming back in mid June but nothing yet and it won't even be an Auto HDR switching feature! its kinda a dealbreaker and I would give this a 2.8 out of 5. The throughput with my ATT fiber is very good however and clocking in at around 365 mbps down.

TS4K is garbage, TiVo edited and broke perfectly working Android TV OS, if you want to bring everything together, use app called Reelgood, it will truly bring all services together, not like TiVo, only few paid services. if you like Android TV get Nvidia Shield Android TV Pro, Nvida Shield Android TV or budget version of Android TV Xiaomi Mi Box S. PS. Remote don't have Play/Pause, FF and RW buttons, you can't operate some apps without these buttons.

Can you please review Mi Box S
I thought it was a great and cheap 4k streaming device but I recently heard that ot is full of bugs and bloatware.
Also Mi Stick is coming out sometime this year so a price reduction might happen. I am sure this will be an interesting topic to cover and analyze.

I have 2 of them since they came out. Love it. Tbh I do not use the sling app. I like that it's licenced for some of the services like getting Netflix in HD. Other streaming apps can be on start up page letting you know new episodes of your fav programs came out (I have TVZion). 2gb ram makes it responsive.

This vid doesn't get a 'like' from me cuz it fails to mention monthly fees, which are the bane of my existence. Imho, the whole point of cord cutting is to eliminate recurring fees. I'll pay more for a device that lets me do that.

I am curious most of you think now Because the ones they now sell are a piece of junk and don’t work worth beans. I had to send two brand new ones back, because they didn’t work on four different name brand TVs.

Anyone out there know if this tivo 4k dongle can integrate (upload somehow) the guide info from a Roamio with lifetime service if I connect the two together via usb port Or plug the tivo 4k dongle's hdmi into the Roamio

Dolby Atmos was obviously not tested since it’s not working as advertised. There are known bugs which were not addressed.

Its great once i loaded the update it has CBS All Access integrated. Amazon has it now faster delivery.
