-Windows 10 keeps getting worse- Yes, I can tell, last year, there was a bug that affected computers with a random BSOD, (that happened to my computer) and another problem with defragmentation that could potentially destroy your SSD, I think it also happened to me. My 1TB SATA SSD died, and I suspect that it may be because of that bug, my SSD was 3 years old, I didn't use it heavily moving files and such, it was just used as a main drive for Windows 10, and I used other HDDs for moving files and such, and yet it failed, that's why I suspect it was that bug of Windows 10. - I miss my SSD, I wanted to install some games on it to decrease load times -

Microsoft is using 365 to monopolize the market. Each Windows 10 update reveals more and more the transition which is slowly moving you out of your desktop and into their infrastructure. One drive will slowly become your hard drive, apps strictly purchased via Microsoft store and can only be accessed via Microsoft account. Windows 10 OS is turning into Windows 365 SaaS. This will force us to pay subscriptions to access our apps and data as your computer hardware becomes merely a thin client to access your account. Then Microsoft controls the entire eco system while you are stuck paying subscriptions that increase more and more and more.....

Windows 10 and office is worse by the day. Today it will not connect to the server, but a ping shows its there. No solution. I am sick of it. Microsoft have sold have baked products since 1986, they are all bad. Only the last version of XP and 7 were close to stable. So after almost 40 years of buying and sucking up their shitty software I am basically done. I will find a solution one way or other. Long term MS will go down. Anyone remember Netscape? They had 80% of the browser market, but they disappeared almost overnight. When a viable alternative is available MS will see mass defections, I am.sure of it.

Microsoft is such a contradictory company, on one side they have such amazing services and apps like VScode, Azure, the android/ios apps, office apps and they have the surface line up which is not the best but it is promising. BUT, on the other side there is windows which is absolute crap and I can't believe that its made by the same company that has all the above apps. I think that satya nadella just isn't into windows and its probably true because he has never mentioned windows in any of his speeches, its bizzare.

I completely agree with you. Microsoft has been shit for a long time and it gets worse with every major update. Whats sad is you get all these shills that will say -actually windows 10 is amazin i love it!- and im instantly just like...........seriously. Microsoft is insanely forceful with what the want to put or take from your pc in the OS and it's just not right. I can't count the number of times the update system alone has screwed me over. Microsoft is absolute garbage and their microsoft store is garbage too.

I had not one, but 2 blue screens of death post update. Luckily enough I was covered an extra year past the default warranty because I had bought the laptop with my Chase card. It took a few months and some rigamarole, but Chase paid me back the full cost of the laptop (unbelievably). They shouldn't have to pay for Microsoft's mistakes.
I'm a long, long-time Windows defender, but I hope the end is near. Technology should make our lives less stressful, not continuously, steadily more stressful.

I'd use linux if I could game on it like windows.
Install OS on a small SSD and all other files on other SSD/HDD and let them update all they want. Anything goes wrong, no files gone just minor apps. You can even install to other drives. Windows needs to be on it's own drive. It's like a FORD you never know if it's going to starts. It's 50/50 everytime.

Windows is for people who do not want the Internet, because before you go online you have to waste a lot of time on updates, or fixing errors that the operating system has. In the end, one gets so bored that one turns off the computer, on my iPad I do not have any such problem I can go directly online right away.

Once was a Windows User too. Switched to Mac about 2 years ago and I couldn-t be happier.
Sure, I could have gone with Linux, but if you-re a full on Apple User like me, (iPhone, iPad, etc.) Mac is really the best way to go, especially with all their products complementing each other so well.
