I bought an ASUS TUF GAMING FX505 GT last year (2021). When you turn in on, it takes around 2 minutes before the cooling fans start to blow and whine, even if no heavy job is started. The battery is weak, lasts only 2-3 hours and shorter if I work in Adobe apps. The screen doesn-t show correct colours, red is very often orange. Is it worth it to try to install MacOS in it or will it be even more hot after that? It has i5 9th generation and 8 GB RAM, 64-bits. I am surprised that this was so bad. Can-t understand how you should be able to play heavy games on it when it gets overheated for almost nothing. This seems very complicated. One more thing: My laptop has Nvidia graphics, gaming version.

Great video Chris.. But may I make a suggestion.. Because it may not boot first time.. (because you may of forgot a step or misconfigured something) Having a second USB drive to save the downloaded fills too..As linux mint live usb doesn't save your downloaded files to the linux install drive.. So if you have to reboot mint all the downloaded file are gone..Having a second drive to save download to will stop you from having to redownload everything..

I would love to have a working and able version of Mac OS. BUT I dare not. It have been many years wasting my effing time and I have given up.
PS to have a not-properly working OS 10 would to me, be like NOT having anything at all... OH perhaps some MSDOS from the 80s.....

I have old PC Pentium dualcore with Gigabyte G41-ES2L MB and 2x2gb of Ram. I bought that MB because it was recommended for Vanila instalation of MacOS Snow Leopard back in the days. In the Meanwhile graphic card died, since the MB has integrated graphic card, will it work on MacOS now, Snow Leopard or another version?

You should really warn people about those cheap wifi card adapters from Amazon. I bought one and used a known good Wifi card from a MBP i tore down for parts. My PC REFUSED to post with the cheap adapter installed and even would reboot itself simultaneously. Seller refused to refund me.

Very great tutorial for Hackintoshing. One question though, I want to install macOS Big Sur on XPG Xenia Xe (16G RAM, 11th Gen i7, 1TB M.2 SSD, Xe Graphics) but I have not seen any 11th gen guides. On Reddit, I found people emulating 10th gen processor's cpu-id. What should I do?

Can someone explain why in God's name someone would want macos on their actual hardware? You can have virtual machines if you must do something quick on macos , but ye in rly curious to know why people would choose macos over linux
