Tabliss Is A -New Tab- Plugin For Firefox and Chrome DistroTube Tabliss is a beautiful, customisable New Tab page for Firefox and Chrome, and the browsers that base of Firefox and Chrome (such as LibreWolf and Brave). In particular, it solves the empty tab problem that I was having on LibreWolf. Tabliss is free and open source software and is licensed under the GPL. - https://tabliss.io/

Just switched to libreWolf (it didn't have a windows build back when i first wanted to use it, and i was lazy so i waited for it to appear on chocolatey also ;p). Tried tabliss but using nightTab now. It looks better, more like what its replacing on firefox, and has a github page, but idk yet if its 100% safe to use. It doesn't have plugins like tabliss, and i don't see a way to specify a timezone so the clock is usless also lol.

Bloatware! ))) seriously, its so shame that firefox removes build-in about:conf option to set any url as new tab page AND dont allow extensions to fill that gap - unlike chrome and chromium-based, there-s bug that dont allow extensions to set focus on address bar; that issue on bugzilla about 4 years!

This is interesting I have been experimenting with another plugin like this. I have been using start.me, which is a commercial plugin with a free tier. What I like about it is that my configs are stored in the cloud making it easy to add to a new machine with my configuration intact.

Doesn't work with OperaGX (You can install Chrome extensions and I have lots that all work, but this one doesn't) seems like OperaGX has it's own new tab thing and so when you try to use this you just get the default OperaGX new tab page. Anyone know a workaround?

Hello I want to ask, how did you change the arrows (back/next) in the upper left ?
The original ones are ugly, and I can't find anywhere on the internet for customizable button theming.

You don't need an extension for this btw, you can open up userChrome.css and autoload.js and serve your own html page, when you open a new tab it will load file:///somepage.html.

I don't know if it's just the mastodon instance that I'm on but your instance has been blocked by mstdn social, seems like it's time for me to move to another instance as well

I've been a long timer user of tabliss but unfortunately there's a known bug where it resets it's configs every few days, specially if you use Firefox on multiple PC :/

Hey Derek... how did you get a small font for your tabliss quick links - my font looks like something from the Friendly Giant's browser. Thanks in advance for the info.

Gonna be adding it to my Brave, ta :-)
I would add it to LibreWolf too but I've not been able to locate their Snap pacakge, which they say they have!
