While I enjoy LISP, I honestly find Vim more attractive (especially with Aniseed). It-s faster, runs directly in text mode (if you are clever, you can embed apps into Vim terminal windows), and is surprisingly scriptable (if you know how, with VimL/Lua supplemented with scripts).

Sir
I'm new to RSS (yes, in 2021) but I think it's a great concept.
I've only tried one RSS reader so far, Newsboat, and it seems super simple and easy to use compared to what you have there.

Just so you know, the +org part of the elfeed module makes it so that elfeed-org package is installed, so that you can configure your feeds using org headers, instead of an e-lisp list.

So, yes. Emacs and key bindings. Not really for relaxing after a full day of work. Meanwhile, elfeed is very intriguing. It could be the secret sauce for a brain jog tomorrow morning.

Hey DT, you actually don't need to rebuild Doom after modifying config, reloading it with -SPC q r- or -SPC q R- is enough. Doom sync is only needed if you change init.el

If you want some guaranteed success, just replicate this outside of Emacs so the more stubborn vi-rgins will use it.
Not me, though, I'm not a programmer, I'm straight.

To be fair, the default doom module for elfeed already sets up -C-j- and -C-k- for scrolling the preview pane. I don-t know about elfeed-goodies though.
