This is well presented. Thanks. I have a document that uses a lot of text boxes and I'd like to move the picture to the side of one of the text boxes. I'm unable to position it because all of those options are grayed out in -more layout options.- Moving pictures and text wrapping is much more difficult than it should be in Word. It's all a breeze in Pages. But Windows users can't use Pages and Word has to be the default app when there are multiple people across platforms (Mac, Windows) editing a designed document.

Thanks, I knew about this previously, however what I would like to know is - how do you make this 'freedom of movement' permanent in WORD? Before I had my OS system reinstalled on my PC after a recent rebuild, I was able to move inserted pics freely without having to make the formatting changes each time I inserted a new image. In other words, the changes virtually became the default setting for Word.

Ive always been able to do this with no trouble, the first thing you learn in school, ive recently had to shift to using office 365 online word version, and no matter how hard I try, im trying to move a picture freely, constanly changing its wrap text to infront, or behind, yet its not moving freely at all, and constantly 'snaps' to the text. Please help

Do you a newer tutorial for the crappy Word that comes with Office 365? I can't use my old Word anymore and am forced to use this God-awful program.
