TY for telling me I needed no extensions or hardening for Brave. I was looking for that info. Changing nothing in Brave makes it an EXCELLENT browser since it'll have no real unique fingerprint. Now if we can get others to use it. I'm gonna try to harden Waterfox instead of FF. I may go back to FF, but between the slowness and the questionable business practices, I think we should get behind another Gecko/FF-fork. There's a newer one coming out. but, it may be TOO hardened for me. we'll see.

Oh, Oh - Too Hard. i. e. - Amazon won't let me place an order, Tom's Hardware won't let me read a review - ad blocker issue - etc. I downloaded and install all the extensions in the Show More. How can a better understand these settings and adjust them to permit me to more easily navigate websites and be able to execute transactions?
reply

I like your vids but in extension you overpower it. ublock origin for example can block scripts like noscript.
And ublock origin has nearly the same pattern like umatrix, you only need to active it in the settings.

Can I somehow add my password manager to the exception list when cookies are getting deleted with each restart?
I just don't want to log into my password manager everytime I'm closing firefox (using LastPass)

reply

In latest firefox on android. many ad ons don't seem to work, and also some like cookie auto-delete that was installed on my previous version have been removed.
Don't know what's up with firefox!

Some tweak in the about: config section break some websites (e. g. ebay is completely destroyed, pictures on other websites are missing) Does someone know which setting might cause this?
reply

But if you don't sync browser settings and you use multiple devices what do you do. Just keep typing things in again. And not accessing the correct bookmarks?
reply

If you install a lot of add-ons, you will become more unique and easier to fingerprint. So this doesn't necessary help you to be more anonymous.

Is there any way we can use extensions in chrome app? Or is the kiwi browser a better option?
Cause firefox kinda lags a lot.
