Here in China I-ve heard that a lot of people use it, but I-ve never met one yet! vpncompare. co. uk do NOT recommend it for China (and they update their Chinese recommendations every month. I prefer ExpressVPN which, when working, usually gives the best speeds; but over the last year they-ve had regular periods of a few days when they fail to connect. Often on a single day it might work in the morning but not in the afternoon. Other more reliable services, but slower, include VPN. ac and 12vpn (which stricktly speaking is a ShadowSocks service, not a true VPN, but it does give amazing speeds. If you-re in China, you DEFINITELY need at least 2 VPNs to cover for the times when one is blocked.

Techlore, what is your stance on anti theft protection like the open source project 'Prey' or find my phone? What would you value more in this case, privacy (GPS on all the time doesnt feel right for someone who is privacy concerned) or security? Are there alternatives, like a physical GPS tracker that i can build in my laptop but only my home PC has access to? What apps are out there? I would love a video on that topic!
