Biometric -Security- Is NOT Secure - The Hated One Biometric security is strong and unique. But what happens if somebody steals your faceprint or fingerprint? You are compromised everywhere for the rest of your life

Biometrics is very flawed and has many security issues. Just recently, I was working with pool chlorine and as a result my finger prints were temporarily wiped away. A month later my prints are just starting to return. Years ago when finger print readers were use for laptop security, it was common knowledge that silly putty could copy and retain an individual's print to gain access to the computer. If one works with their hands finger print biometrics can be useless.
Facial recognition is also has it's issues. Since the system looks for key measurement points of the face as opposed to the whole face it is easy to circumvent the security strategy. Keep in mind if one's face becomes swollen or distorted, for example a car accident or physical fight, you will lose access to the device.
Lastly, it is common knowledge that Microsoft's Windows 10 records massive amounts of information (including key strokes, and sends it back to Microsoft. The question is, who is collecting and storing information about you without your consent? What are they doing with the biometric information. Through the years I have learnt never to trust Google or Microsoft and highly question all authorities or anyone and everyone who strives to collect any and all information on me.

but for a standard user who usually has -password- as a password, isn't it much easier for the password to be stolen than the fingerprint? I think it's an improvement in safety but obviously like anything has its flaws

There's a character in Usogui that bypassed this tech because the bones in his face were permanently fractured and just floating around, so he could shift them around to make a new face whenever no one was looking

8: 52 -a chip eh? well, as governments, you are in luck! next we will be implementing that chip under your skin, for fast and easy and secure authentication. also includes gps for emergency services. -

The companies always said that biometric is for convenience and not to improve security.
It is improving security because before a lot of people were not using any pin or password at all!

Biometrics are best used securely when combined with other modes of authentication. Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) with Biometrics is the best approach to implementing Biometrics securely.

Jokes on you my phone only detects own finger as correct 20% of the time! Good luck making a key to a lock where the original key barely works!
