Would it be possible to take this custom post type to the next level, and create a custom widget that could be used to add this same functionality that you built out in this website and make this available on another website with the same widget from the example site? Am I thinking this thru correctly? I am basically wondering if all of the customizations you put into the property page can be exported as a widget or a plugin of some type using ACF and existing features of Elementor Pro without the need to create a custom coded plugin. I am very interested, it seems to me that you could add one more step to make this a reality... am I right? Is there another tutorial that the general idea might could be applied to explain how this could be possible?

Great tutorial! I was wondering, is there any way to populate the custom post type fields automatically using an IDX service? Essentially, populate listing fields using data from the MLS sent by an IDX service. I know that probably seems like a lot due to the magnitude of info on the MLS.. Maybe there's some sort of variant of that idea that would be helpful for an agency website though.

Hi there, Firstly great video, it help me a big deal of understanding a more.
1 Question though... at min 14:00 you start talking about the -Dynamic- option. I do not have that option on my Elementor, will this be only because i do not have the pro edition??
as well the template you created I do not have that either as an option in Elementor.
Cheers

i'm having another issue -- everything you are doing makes total sense and i'm following along easy (thank you) BUT my CPT info doesn't pull in elementor. When i got to set up my single post I don't have an option to select it. It's not recognizing that i have set up other Custom Post types at all. I'm super stuck now.

GREAT! Thanks so much for this! Anyone know how to allow users create new listings? Reason being is i want to create a website where renters can look for rental housing and where owners can rent out their housing. If anyone know a plugin that would allow this please reply! Ps. WHITE SPACE IS KING HAHA :P

Hi, I heard that using ACF is not advisable to build a directory website due to the amount of tables/rows that it creates for a single field, and when directory has thousands of listings, site becomes very slow due to the DB size and query -efforts-, do you have any insights regarding this?

If anyone is having trouble with the post type selection in 2020 it's because Elementor has added something called -conditions-, just generate your template following the tutorial and then simply apply the condition from Theme Builder to only include posts included in the Listings category

Thanks all lot for training but I had one problem with post type and post title because when I create new template for listings, in the field that showed the choose for post type there is just post title that-s why I got all time the name of page not the listing that I created

This is a great video, really gave me some ideas. I am using CPTs to create an events page. Is there currently any way to display the ACF fields in the Archive page? I simply need to show the event date instead of the meta data published date.

I am trying to find a way out to upload a -PDF- file from a front end file, and then view its contents. I am struggling with finding an appropriate Elementor Widget to help me achieve this, any help from anybody will be much appreciated.
