we see several ways to move or -push- the updated version of our site to the live or production website. This time we cover Local Staging and Hosted Staging, and compare between the two to see when and how we should use them: https://elementor.com/blog/monday-masterclass-staging-to-live-site/ This episode covers a lot of valuable web-building information for all levels looking to learn how to: - Push a new website to live using All-in-One-WP-Migration - Push a site from Hosted Staging to a live site. - Owner Generated Content vs. User Generated Content - Backing up user/visitor data

Staging on a local site no problem you can use your pro licenses, bud staging on a environment like for instant Go daddy staging is not possible without buying a new Pro licenses. So Elementor decided for me how and where I create a staging site, because if I don't do it the way they wanted me to I have to buy a new Pro licenses. Paying a - 100 a year for only staging and testing purposes becomes a little bit expensive and is also not customer friendly. Their are other page builders that support staging on a pro licenses so now I just have to wait until my licenses are expired, problem solved.

One thing to note if you setup staging on your LOCAL PC and use All-in-One WP Migration, the save to file option, the download/upload process transfers the data in PLAIN TEXT allowing a Man-In-The-Middle hacker to read any file in the download/upload... your wp-config.php file for example that will include hard-coded usernames and passwords. Not the best idea! A safer option would be to make a backup of your files and database on the host server and transfer them via SFTP.

Just though that I would mention an issue with using All-in-One to migrate my site to Bluehost. Somehow the Staging Directory became confused and it points to my site on my local computer. I have had several conversations with Bluehost technical support and have sent an issue report to All-in-One. So far, no resolution. By the way I am unable to change the Staging Directory on my Bluehost Production environment.

Thanks for this video, Actually, you did not fix the main issue of having a website updates regularly, by customers... and you have updates on staging/local, and want to migrate these updates only to live.
How can you do that? -- Except migrating the updates, page by page.. :).
If there is something like git for elementor.. it would be great..

Howdy. One thing I don't understand is what you do with the URL's for each of the individual pages. If the pages are created on a live Cloudways site, for example, what will happen when the live staging site -lands- ... or is uploaded... to the new live site having the domain name? Thanks a lot for the video.

Literally every plugin thats been suggested in both of these videos hasnt worked. All-In-One-WP-Migration just simply doesnt work. Hoping maybe another version of this will be uploaded that talks thhrough the process with plugins that function properly.

I like your Master Classes... Thanks for this one. However, I was waiting for you to tell us how to migrate a site that was modified on the staging platform to a live site without messing up comments, orders, subscriptions, etc... Maybe next time.

Hi there,
this is a fantastic idea, but:
All in One Migration doesn't allow to import files bigger than 512 MB.
So....how do I upload bigger files without paying a new plugin?
Thank you!
