Hi Rob, you start by talking a versatile router but it is all done with a raspberry pi plus your software which must be added to the router with WiFi that I already own and it needs a VPN subscription as well. Why not also build your own VPN?

Can it do mesh routing? What about simultaneous 2. 4ghz and 5ghz? Would be awesome to have VPN on 2. 4ghz and tor on 5ghz. Mesh would be nice, connect them with ethernet over powerline. Also, what about the pi4?

I currently use ExpressVPN, what are your thoughts on it? Is it a good VPN of the larger companies. I currently have it run through my Asus Router which works very well

Can Pi Zero W be used for a similar setup ( with an Ethernet adapter)? Will it be powerful enough to act as a wifi VPN router for 5-6 PCs and say 3 phones?
