Librem is not even delivering at this time.
I'm fighting with Pinephone over my Linux phone that was never delivered and I've escalated it to PayPal for resolution. I rarely buy with PayPal because they've decided against me on shipping before. The company claims I gave an incomplete address but the real problem is they didn't tell me what carrier they're using beforehand so I know which address to use. They're also claiming the phone will be destroyed or abandoned. It's a Hong Kong company and I'm calling them on that lie.
I have a similar problem with Amazon deliveries but they've always made it right. I've been bitten a lot by Chinese companies but expected this company to be different based on reputation. I don't plan to be fooled again.

So Linux Achieved what Microsoft spend Millions on but still had only one Os and one Device Manufacturer and then just copied all restrictions from Melon and Doors and where to get Programms OMG we open a Store -genius-.
Realtalk i probably would have been using a Cellphone ever since android calc asked me the first time to share my data with the Universe and the Apple gone to Jail if XDA-Developers-Forum wouldn't exist and 100's of low budget phone models to tweak n google delete and customize. rom sometime BRICK and i know a goood killswitch manufacturer lives in nearly every kitchen and is shine silver.
Privacy needs no Protection

Privacy as a Service
Major cellular providers are creating unified customer identifiers based on customer account information (name, address, billing information) and unique identifiers on your mobile devices so they can -identify users across multiple devices and serve them relevant advertising.
Librem AweSIM adds an extra layer of privacy to your customer data to protect you from targeted tracking. We register your phone number in our name on your behalf and keep your personal and financial data private and out of the hands of companies who would sell it to others.

I appreciate your dedication to security and privacy.
Your comments about -Android doesn't have a filesystem- are way off base.
I've been using Root Explorer 10 years, since my very first smartphone (the Android-running HTC Desire. I can easily copy or move files, including to/from internal/external storage. I can easily upload files in any one of a variety of ways, including via web browser.
I can't if your inaccurate description here is intentional or because you aren't familiar with this specific topic.

The pinephone offers a version with 3gb ram and 32gb emmc. and it costs 200 dollars and comes with a convergance kit. So compare that to the 750. 00 or 2000. 00 usa version of the librem and the pinephone wins on overall affordability. i would rather get the phinephone because you get more bang for your buck. the librem is to expensive plus i saw a performance review on both and the pinephone did better. but who knows what will happen with updates.

For me it is the price!
PinePhones is affordable but the battery really sucks. but i love my PinePhone!
Connect it to my laptop when running Kali and using my PinePhone. I connect my PineApple to it also, it is a awesome hack starter backpack: D
You don-t have to take your laptop out of your bag, just use all Kali tools on the PinePhone; )

So the Librem 5 is slightly better than the Pinephone but not 4-5 times better
despite being 4-5 times more expensive
But the incresed privacy features over the pinephone might be worth it
personally i could buy a pinephone not as my daily driver, but as a secondary device -just in case- if you catch my meaning

This is a scam. I am dealing with this company for more than 6 months to get a refund regarding a laptop I have never received. I tried to escalate my case, or to get help. However, no way! They changed the status in my account to -Refunded-, but I didn't get any refund.

Not all developers are keyboard junkies. Some are, some are not. But Linux is an OS specifically designed for keyboard junkies. Mobile phones don't have keyboards. This was an evolutionary process, but eventually the keyboard junkies lost out. Deal with it.

I don't know what you have been doing but Android surely has a file system. I'm frequently will upload documents from my Android phone in a browser without any problems. I have also done plenty of moving files around on my phone with no issues.
