Who's Spying on Your Phone in 2020? (Part 1) - Rob Braxman Tech This is intended to be a multipart series on who's spying on your phone. There are multiple parties spying on your phone. There are multiple pieces of data being captured. And there are multiple technologies used for spying. This is a very deep discussion on this and in subsequent videos, we will dig in in more detail. We will examine this from the point of view of law enforcement, mass surveillance, commercial spying, and unknown parties and hackers. We will discuss some of the laws in the US that authorize some of this spying. Like CALEA and FISA. We will talk about the technologies used in spying at the network level, at the radio transmission level and down to the chips of the devices themselves. In this first part, we will discuss the big picture first so you understand the spying landscape. Our phones are now directly part of this surveillance infrastructure. Whether you like it or not, you are participating in it. Whether or not you have anything to hide. Part 2 is now available

ive deleted all my IM sevices, ive blocked everything i can using browser isolation, firewall rules, plugins, VPN/tor, And i still feel like im being zucked. Like the best thing to do is just throw away my pc and phone, dont play any games, dont have any friends, dont talk to anyone, dont use any social media, and dont watch anything privacy or politically related.
Well. now i have no job, and almost no way of getting one.
i have no friends or any way of making them.
and i have no way to communicate with my family.
and i have no way of buying things i need to live.
I think at the end of the day.
You can either use this crap and take a few precautions to avoid ads, and reduce the overall data collection on yourself. but then you tell me -oh well blocking this stuff makes you a target too.
WHATS THE POINT? I can either use the tech. or throw it all away and be a homeless bum.

I have to apologize in the past I got very frustrated with your information. I did more research. you are correct as I have cross confirmed many things you have said to be true. I thought you exxaggerated but people are asleep like in the matrix movie. had google didnt make a simple perceptable change in my phone, I would have never woken up to take the red pill. i turned my phone on and they -updated- icons. I got pissed they changed things in my phone and having it exactly like I wanted. I then woke up. it was just a little electrical shock that triggered my anti 5 giants. FB is gone, MS is getting replaced to lunix, I dont buy amazon, phone is getting changed to pinephone as soon as its more stable. threat #2(internet giants) like you is what my issue is.

For a number of years I assumed that everything I said and did on my phone and laptop was monitored by the state and this was a price worth paying for security. After all, my life hardly interested me so it was unlikely to interest the State. I have however recently been struggling with the realisation that the State is, intentionally or otherwise, a more dangerous and hostile opponent than the alleged security threats it purports to protect us from. Why this should be, is beyond me, other than to remember that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Was it always thus? The older I get, the more of a supporter of the concept of anarchy I become.

I like to put this out, let me know if anyone else had this experience. An informant for the GOV tricked me on using his sim card instead of the out of the box. HOW? Out of the box sim was able to update my new phone, but it didn't unlock the phone, so this informant left the store, then came back and asked me if the phone got unlocked, of course not, so he used his phone and a new sim card to activate the simcard he turn the phone on then he inserted into mine

Rob, I am not surprised by any of the things you talk about in your video. In my opinion, our government is corrupt and its not just the internet backdoors. Something to think about is that the 3 letter agencies have technology you don-t know about. Suggestion, look into invisibility technology by governments. It exists and i am a victim of this.

Glad someone else is talking about this. I tell people this all the time and they act like I'm a crazy tin foil head. ive been talking about this for years.

So do you know what they do with this boring information they are spying on? Why would they want it if you-re not involved with anything controversial?
