Because Youtube have almost monopoly status, it have came arrogant against the content creators. Appropriate amount of competition is the best way to keep the game fair. So in that perspective, LBRY is more than welcome alternative we should support by simply using it over You(shaddowban)Tube. LBRY is yet quite small, but growing fast.

I am a semi new listener. Out of the dozen or so vids I have viewed thus far, I think I find This vid to be in general terms, the best most informative outlook of the entire issue with simple basic privacy.

it's more about censorship rather than privacy if ur using decentralized stuff
why do we need a middle man, just put it all on blockchain then u can have as many sites as u want as an interface to that blockchain

Good luck with setting up a gmail account without having to give a legit phone number. I've spent huge amounts of time trying to do this and I believe it's no longer possible to create such an account without one.
