Big Tech Tells You Fairy Tales - Fake Privacy Moves - Rob Braxman Tech Apple is implementing the iCloud Private Relay. Apple has taken steps to block trackers just like Brave and Firefox. Google has taken steps to block unauthorized device fingerprinting. Google is making the biggest move of all, blocking the biggest threat which is browser fingerprinting. All with a new technology called Federated Learning of Cohorts. Has Apple and Google seen the light and are making positive moves towards privacy? This unfortunately is just a fairy tale. Their motives are not what you think. This video tears down the fairy tale and shows you the real goal which is domination and money

Seriously? Use VPN and TOR? While what you say is obviously true about centralization, these big techs offer services that we depend on like Gmail and Maps. I am certain even if you obfuscate your IP Address, IMEA, MAC etc, the bottom line is obviously your login id to access those services like gmail and maps - duh? Do you really want to slow down your access, donate metered bandwidth, manually juggle an assortment of different login id's? At the end of the day all you can do is submit to one or two of the big five and deny the other three. For me I have sadly-submitted fully to useful-Google, partially to monetizing-Microsoft and totally avoid monetizing-Apple, infuriating-Farcebook, and aggressive-Amazon.

FYI: For Comcast cable customers and probably others, you CAN change your LAN's public IP address any time you want! Problem is, it's a bit of a PITA. Very simply, all you need to do is change your public facing MAC address. Typically, this means changing or -spoofing- your routers MAC so that your ISP will assign a different IP. Clearly, there's also the matter of your modem's MAC and that would be something to consider. But for now, the poor man's way to change his home IP address (since VPN's are so outrageously expensive) is to change your routers MAC (assuming you know how.

You have good amount of information for us to double-check and learn by digging deeper. Thanks!
What about Microsoft and Yahoo? I'm sure there are some matters there as well, but you don't mention them so much. What about Linux new fashion? What about VMs? Do they carry along any flags of the host OS and host machine information that could be used to connect the boating with the hosted OS and thus connect them for the fingerprint? It would also be interesting to show case the chrome incognito mode.
Thanks again!

This information is pure gold. This guy is a hero of freedom. We freedom loving people must come together to offer support and strategies.
We are cattle to these evil technocrats and We, more aware, must be more like wary wily Cats, because cattle can be hearded, not so much Cats. Meow.
I recently discovered the Brax app and it seems to be a good place for useful discussion. Cattle see they are building corrals and do nothing. Cat sees this and skeedaddles away. Meow.

You should do a video on the growing number of financial apps that require google SafetyNet Verification as well. I just recently had to REGOOGLE my phone just to be able to move money around how I need to. Now I need to buy a NEW phone to degoogle and use this one as a wifi digital wallet I guess.

I know this is off topic but can anyone tell me how to stop playlist videos from autoplaying on my tablet. If I fall asleep I lose all my data even though I only want to watch a single video. If I cannot fix this problem I will stop using YouTube in evenings and night or when I am tired.

I have a doubt abt Android. Google's android is made from AOSP which is an open-source project. So can the smartphone vendors like samsung, oneplus or any vendor will be able to look into Google's android source code? How does it work? Please can anyone explain it?

Have you seen the new Liberty phone they are advertising? It-s an open source android phone. I would love to see you do a review on it to see if it-s a useful phone or a brick they are marketing to free minded folks who aren-t tech savvy.

Apple security is an oxymoron! I think vpn-s are a Trojan horse. I absolutely don-t trust the technology they-re selling us.
I think google, Apple, FAKEBOOK and android are all one big happy family, targeting us.

Would setting up a virtual computer on the PC or home server help secure data from being accessed by software running on the virtual PC? e. g. Run browser in a virtual PC and have everything else running normally?
