Is there a Phone Backdoor? (Pegasus, Simjacker, SS7) - Rob Braxman Tech There seems to be a pattern. The Pegasus exploit, Simjacker exploit and SS7 exploit are all very similar. This is all conjecture (though a well thought one. Could there be a backdoor on our phones? And if there is one, where would it be? In this video, I tell you where I think it could be if it existed

They can do multi hop to CMOS battery. The Navy discovered and developed hacking air-gapped computers using SONAR technology. Nearfield rfid.
Possibly since the early 2000s.
They tried to test it by hacking their target on a bus. they were able to image every device on the bus! Then they can go back in and hack it the regular way, but that is only one method.
And so then you will need Sandboxing. Virtual machines?
They also used this to hack a record mastering plant before the album was released.
Privoro is a company serving government and enterprise that blocks this by having a 2nd device that is The Case.
Acoustical engineers also work with sound designers and signal processing equipment for musical equipment and speakers.
They can create a panorama that makes it seem as if the musicians are occupying a certain spot in the room, as they were when being recorded.
So you will hear the position of the upright bass players hands. Where the guitar slides down the neck. Where percussion is hitting and at what height.
If they reverse engineer these frequencies from a phone, they can image the objects/occupants in a room!
And then there is voice spoofing we will have to be on guard for. Gamers are already having fun with this. And there you are - in your own voice, saying things you never said.
FB and Google operate as tho private individuals are a corporate entity. Businesses want to be seen and known. Know where potentially interested demographics may be nearby - or elsewhere. Do marketing analytics for same.
But even businesses lock their doors.
There should have been a clear line drawn between personal life and business.
It should have been legislated, but then 9/11 happened and changed all that.
As it is, we are becoming both the raw material and product for a technocracy.
We all should have a separate business and incorporate as an LLC or whatever. Even if it is only small transactions.
Then keep personal and business - separate.
There are FB alternative platforms. Have only people You Actually Know see your opinions/updates. Vacation plans. new toys.
And then you can get a handle on who is hacking you.
There are network detectors and analyzers that any IT professional uses, so.
Don't talk to strangers and be putting your personal business out there unless you are keeping it in a Zone.

Sometimes the obvious answer is the easiest,
Many of the employees, engineers, high level executives work for the US intel apparatus as well.
These companies are compartmentalized, employees have access to some of the development but not everybody knows how the big puzzle work, except for those I mentioned above.
It is the same methodology used by our Chinese, Israeli and Russian partners and friendly allies.
It is An example of course.
It is a fallacy to assume that a Russian spy is actually a Russian citizen. Most of them are either US born Americans, or come from other nations but work on behalf of the Russian state. Out of pure Conviction or money Jus an example too.
They work for special interests. A Hornets nest.
The truth of the matter is, nobody knows who is a bona-fide and dedicated employees, or someone who has other special interests.
The secret is in the sauce.

Great info, but 3-letter agencies fund and manage big tech companies like Google, for example. Even some of the most popular Linux distros are funded by big tech. If they are willing to take money from the very people the Linux community are trying to avoid, then they have essentially been infiltrated. That's why I won't use Ubuntu anymore.

So, you're saying that the PinePhone and the Librem 5 are more secure than the rest? If that is the case.

Pretty good content. Want to see something strange? Record with a separate camera after clicking update and upgrade on Ubuntu. There-s shit there that shouldn-t be there. Just record it and then play it back slow.
