The first laptop we've reviewed with an RTX 2080 Max-Q is here! The MSI GS75 Stealth is the 17-inch version of one of our favorite gaming laptops of last year and has a number of upgrades internally and externally. In this video Gordon unboxes it, weights it, benchmarks it, and lets you know just how well it performed in both traditional and ray traced games. I know it-s a gaming computer but does it also work well for -work-? I-m looking to get a laptop originally I wanted a MacBook Pro with the 20 Vega graphics however I built it it-s over $5K and I can just get a gaming computer with a better graphics for less lol.
However I-m only a minor gamer, but i also plan on doing work on my laptop.
I have never owned a windows computer, I have always owned Macs, my whole life growing up as well (my mom is an artist. So I don-t know anything about windows OS and how things work and the software and shit. I-m kinda diving in with my eyes closed lol

I waited for RTX because I want to know what that little thing is able to do. I think RTX came out to early, the technic is not far enough to get out the full potential and that will kill this feature for the first. It is the same thing with the 3D function on laptops (like asus G74SX that I buy for 1800- because I thought that it is the future, it looks still cool for diablo 3 but for more -powerhungry- games FORGET IT. For myself every price offer 2000- is overpaid. Some rumours say that the next generation will call GTX again, maybe that's a little tip from NVIDIA? -

I am really considering purchasing the i9 version of this laptop. I am actually cross shopping the Razer Blade Pro and the GS75 Stealth. I think they are both beautiful machines, however the Blade Pro does not have an i9 option and I do not like that the Pro has a 70. 5 watt hour battery opposed to their smaller 15 inch Blade. All said though I can not help but admire the appearances of the whole new Blade line up for 2019 because they look as professional as a Mac.

my biggest issue with this laptop is they put the touchpad in the middle while the right side is numpad. This would be a hell for typing. Why don't they just copy Razer, get rid of the numpad, and add good speaker? Do gamers really use numpad that much?

Oh loook it's a gaming laptop but let's NOT judge it by how much it improves on GAMING PERFORMANCE. instead, let's rely on BENCHMARKS because that's what we do with GAMING LAPTOPS 95% of the time right? Running benchmarks for entertainment.

What i hate is they reviewers always review the most expensive laptops of the series. How many people can buy it huh? Most people who will own this laptop will buy the 2060 version so why are you all reviewing the 2080 ones?

Very nice I'm looking at laptops now to replace my dying PC: ( plus I'm close to friends and family now so a laptop replacement makes sense to me and I'm thinking of going for a laptop with these specs. :)

Thank you so much. Without your help, I would still be looking for the power button. Oh my God. Why did they put it in the middle on the inside? Like, WHY? How was I supposed to know that's where it was?

you had to mention that even Internet surfing turn up the fan and you'll be going crazy because of the noise. so. this laptop is not for work. unfortunately.

you can pick one up with a i7 9th gen, 1TBssd, 34g mem, for $2K now if you look around for it. New egg sells for $2299 with an rebate of $200. Great deal.
