For Canon cameras it's easy if they run magic lantern to find out there max speed searching on the magiclantern. fm/forum
with a simple search i see my Canon 6D is limited to 40mb\sec- max.
magiclantern has a SD card benchmark, mostly used for verifying if SD cards will work with RAW video hacks.
i think only the newest Nikon and Sony cameras are actually able to use the -fast- cards.
shops still try to up-sell faster cards to make your camera go faster, happy to see you highlight it.

Hmm. Cost-wise though, upgrading the Samsung S10 from 128gb to 512gb is $250 more. whereas you could buy a Samsung microsd 512gb for $130. So for $120 less. Plus now the phone has 128gb internal and 512gb external and now you have 640gb for less $. And for storing data (not apps) like photos and video it doesn't really slow down. The stock cam will default to internal mem if you are doing burst or certain modes.

Transcend has specific industrial SDs which I prefer to use as SBC system drive. They provide -120 something TBW for 16 gb cards, or even greater, for larger models, and endure sudden blackouts, without loosing pending buffer writes. Not a fastest solution, though, just good class 10.

Thanks for this video! I use 1080p 60fps on my GoPro regularly and realized I was using a low speed 10mb/sec card. Just ordered a new class 10!

I've had so many SansDisk cards go bad after a year our two. I switched to Samsung and have never had one of them quit on me.
