Melissa shows off Lenovo's fall 2019 Chromebook lineup including the C340 11 & 14, and S340 14. Shot on a Canon C100 Mark 2 Brian: As an owner of a Lenovo tablet, and a Lenovo Chromebook, let me start by saying they are both ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! As soon as the 90 day warranty expired they pushed out an update and made my Lenovo Chromebook turn into a pile of junk! And every time they push out another update it deteriorates the Lenovo that much more. From their cheap keyboards to their crap Wi-Fi systems, they are absolute garbage. I can't say enough horrible things about the Lenovo brand. If you buy a Lenovo of any kind you are a fool. I wouldn't care if they only cost 5 cents, they aren't worth it.

If only they would make more Linux laptops like that. What is the point of using ChromeOS? it is based on Gentoo but it is completely locked down, you can't run much software on it. They might as well put regular Linux on it. But Chromebooks are pushed by the big Google, Linux doesn't have that commercial company pushing it. Maybe IBM can start doing it now that they own Red Hat?

Lenovo has yet to drop a Chromebook for me to make it rain on them-
no one makes a bigger pixelbook competitor. why not?
all i see is compromises in the Chromebook world, why no PRO models? I run chromebooks hard all day, and all the processors offered so far from all manufacturers are weak compared to widows counterpart.
is it too much to ask?

If the C340 15- had a QHD or higher resolution display and at least 8 GB of RAM, it would sell like hotcakes. Especially for a Chromebook of this size and build quality, I was personally hoping it had those features.

the way lenovo designed their chromebooks is annoying. The top half of the chromebook juts out further than the bottom half at an angle so its hard to get a good grip without your fingers sliding

google found holes in intel cpu's, yet Lenovo still puts intel in Chomebooks? Go figure. build on ARM fo batteylife or AMD for more secure CPU's and miles better graphics?

Why they only put a backlit keyboard in the 15- is beyond me. In my opinion all laptops by 2020 should have a backlit keyboard, it's no great cost increase to implement it.

Does anyone actually like numpad on laptop?
I don-t mind if I use the laptop primarily as a gaming machine. But for typing I hate shifting my hands to the left.

Lenovo makes cheap albeit good looking chromebooks. They crap out within a couple of year as opposed to Acers or Samsungs which keep going.

Are they all touch screen? They should be priced 179, 229, and 300 from low to high end in this video. I would then consider one.
