At CES 2021 Intel announced Rocket Lake S and the Core i9-11900K as well as Tiger Lake H35. having Thunderbolt built into the motherboard rather than having to go the route of an add in card is really useful to us audio guys who have Thunderbolt audio interfaces. That's why i'm sticking with Intel as AMD don't have official Thunderbolt support.

I am sure that it will hold the 1080p gaming crown for 6 months, maybe 18 months. I use a 4k display and my computer use is 75% production work 15% gaming, so its not enough to sway me. Plus I rather not switch MB.
