11900k is slower than 10900k in MOST applications while using more power. It's NOT a better chip in most games and especially multitasking stop being an Intel fan boy, this is not an impressive launch and those features could easily be added to 10th gen without the need to spend billions on back porting and production of a chip that's worse than 10th gen (check actual reviewers who all disagree with your praise of 11th gen)

Gordon they absolutely shouldn't have released an i9 chip in this gen. There are plenty of examples where a pc part manufacturer didn't release a product at every 'level'. It works against their marketing, their product comparisons, and enthusiast opinion (which is like a separate marketing. Uninformed consumers may just by the best Intel, but that doesn't last forever if your products consistently aren't the best.

I think the sweetspot would've been in the middle of Brad and Gordon's arguments: call it i7 11750k and charge maybe +50$ so the KF would be slightly under the 5800X MSRP, like 20-30$.
The 11600KF looks pretty compelling tho, and it's available for 259- in Spain while the 5600X is 359- (if/when in stock)

I have the 3090, thank god (at the correct MSRP of 1499. 00! I'm going to ride on that GPU for about a year and a half. Likewise, I agree with you -BradChacos that there is no need to switch the GPU anytime soon.

While the chip is awful for an informed consumer, Gordon is right when he says that charging less would mean leaving money on the table, given the current circumstances and brand recognition with many consumers.

Adaptive Boost Technology is being used improperly and that's why people are hitting the 100s. ABT is made for gaming. Even with that being said, the Intel chip still does run a bit hotter.

Could you be any more apologetic Gordon? It-s a step backwards and is trounced by the competition. I can-t even listen to you guys anymore. Oh and power = heat -H/V guy

Kinda sound like an Intel apologist, your making excuses for them (oh nobody uses multicore that much, understand they still on 14nm, nobody cares about power use?

I think Gordon had a life change experience or maybe is the Holy week. He doesn't sound like the person I'm been listening for years.
