One thing I really hope about 8BitDo is that they improved the internal quality of their joysticks since the time I bought one of their controller. I've had a LOT of different official / 3rd party controllers in my hands, and one thing I can say about the one I got from them a while back (the SN30 Pro Wired) is that if not for those joysticks, it would very much be a 10/10, especially for the prices.
The thing I immediately noticed about the joysticks upon testing them was how. flimsy. weak. i don't know how to put it but moving the joystick around felt like there was little to no resistance in any of them (unlikely to be a defect since they felt both the same, but I won't exclude the possibility noneless. However in game it was allright, not the best I've ever used but it did the job. Then one day I dropped the controller, it felt right on the joysticks and both of them got unplayable drift since, rendering them unusable: /
For comparaison, I since then switched to a Switch Pro Contoroler (first time I had one in hand) and I'll just say that usually, joysticks and -face thumb- buttons and the one showing signs of heavy wear in less than a year with my usage. And this controller, I have no idea how it's still working as it has been almost 2 years now and the only damage on it after going through 4 shocks, some accidental falls and heavy usage is some very slight joystick wear (fixed with a deadzone, the 2 face thumb buttons feeling just a bit more worned out and the joystick rubbers that came loost after the last slam.
TL; DR: I bought the SN30 Pro Wired, it fell on the joysticks and they instantly broke, but the rest of the controller was pretty much perfect and I'm now using a Switch Pro Controller that just refuses to die so I really hope they did improve them instead of putting all of their work on what I would call -controller gimmick-.

Going to have to get one of these, my ipega 9037 broke randomly one day, just quit working after a few minutes of use, battery voltage is fine tested another battery as well and my ole 8bitdo zero still works but I need something that can handle gamecube inputs for dolphin on android, looks like this will be a more reliable option although the larger face buttons of the Pro+ sounds better to me.

I just bought this controller for Elden Ring on PC and it is the best I have ever used. It's lighter and maybe even more comfortable to hold than the Xbox controller and all the inputs feel snappy and premium. I have bound the rear buttons to macros to use pouch items. I have rear left for mount and rear right for physick flask. I really hope it has good durability too, time will tell.

I can't get how to set douple buttons to the macro paddles in Tekken 7 as double buttons at same time, it doesn't work!
When I set e. g. Y + A to P1/P2 in Tekken 7, only one of these buttons will be used in the game! So what did I wrong? . I've bought it only for Tekken 7 for a better D-pad than a PS4 Dualyshock and the programmable buttons but at the time I'm just disappointed -

I preordered it when I first first about it and I-m so glad I did! I-ve been using it constantly. The only issue i had with it is that the select and start button sometimes don-t work depending on the software because of the built in screenshot function and you can-t make profiles for MacOS using the ultimate software which was really unfortunate as an Apple user.

Just got the Pro 2 the other week and I game on my pad, Switch and PC. This controller can not be beat, especially for this price. My one concern is that the little switch on the back will break soon because I use it so much switching between platforms. Might have to get another one just to reduce the wear and tear.

Oh awesome detail noticing the battery still says Sn30! I just did a review of this controller as well, and I compared it to the Nintendo Switch Pro controller and many many others! I like how the start and select buttons are centered also when they weren't on the previous model.

A normal switch pro controller is way more comfortable. This controller responds correctly in my experience, but isn-t designed for a normal-handed person. Doesn-t matter if you can play claw or other techniques.

8bitdo make the WORST controllers EVER
I can never get my pc recognize that piece of shit instantly, it takes ages for bluetooth to work, and the autonomy is GARBAGE

I use an 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ controller and I like it's design and buttons.
I enjoy controlling games with that gamepad. :)
I mightly will order the newer 8BidDo controller at the end of this year.
