Gordon unboxes and reviews the Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED and the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U CPU inside to see just how fast this 8-core laptop is. He runs use through a march of benchmarks that measure everything from video editing to Microsoft Office performance compared to an Core i7-1195G7, as well as the older generation Ryzen 7 4800U & 5800U. We also get to see the fantastic RDNA 2 based GPU performance in a handful of games, proving that you can indeed do some gaming on a thin and light laptop like this

I know he's been around for a while, but it feels like he just grabbed a laptop he liked the specs of and just started talking about it. The 550 nit brightness is only over a small area and for a small period of time. The actual full brightness is much less. There could be more in-depth testing like some of the other reviewers to test posted specs

I actually love how ASUS does their own BIOS updates through the OS and a simple restart.. No flash drives and flashing of the BIOS manually. On Their laptops anyway... My ASUS VIVOBook with the 5500U in it just did a BIOS update last month on it's own.. ASUS pushed it through on their own..

Ryzen with that efficiency again, 12hours battery life, with RDNA2 on top of it, really cherry on top. Alder Lake might be more powerful yeah, but it's GUZZLING watts like there's no tomorrow, definitely NOT something you want in laptop

LMAO They spent more on the paging then they did on the laptop.. Nah I know thats a very powerful laptop for the money.. I have an ASUS with a 5500U in it, and it kicks but..

Bit of a fail by Asus when their 5800U gets run over by a 4800U from another vendor... Waiting for an actually competent manufacturer to put a 6800U/6600U laptop on the market.
