Adrian: The Atari VCS did release, it had an AMD R1606G Zen chip running a Linux OS, and it was actually genuinely a pretty cool device. It had a clever joystick controller, where the joystick itself worked as a rotating wheel for games like Pong. Personally, I feel like it's a bit disappointing that the cynical reaction from the tech media essentially doomed what could have been a pretty nifty little machine. Date: 2023-03-22
