we will learn how to separate the image into wrinkles and fabric texture so that we can just work on the wrinkles and not affect the texture. Using the mixer brush, we will even out the wrinkles and creases, and eventually, remove the same from the garment

hi! thank you so much for the tutorial! I have a question. When we use the mixer brush on the low freq blurred image, and then released that its out of the area we want to remove the wrinkles, is there anyway to 'undo' (in case of there are already many steps done to simply ctrlZ) or erase just that part? Or would there be a indestructive way around doing this?

Hi Unmesh, thank you so much for all the brilliant tutorials. I have a question & I was wondering if you could help me with this. How to remove strong watercolor paper texture from the artwork? I have come across tricks to remove paper texture from artwork if artwork is scanned. but I photograph my artwork and I have a tough time editing it.
Thanks.

Hey! Your expertise is priceless. Thank you for every minute you spend on sharing your knowledge. Now straight to business; ) Would you happen to have any secret technique to remove wrinkles from patterned clothes (faster than hours with clone stamp? I'm working with checker pattern. Thank you: )

This is absolute magic. Wonderful explanation and this is seriously a life saver. This removes all the wrinkles without changing the texture of the clothing.
I love the use of math and science applied to photoshop. Thank you so so much.

Nice explanation. I already used an action to do this, but this visual explanation gives more founding to the concept. Thanks! Basically also like in sound design, an oscillator (sine/saw/square) and a LFO (low frequency oscillator.

You have been a godsend to me. I have always struggles with photos of people. My area has been mostly houses and landscapes but I wanted and needed to learn to do portraits better. This has helped a lot. Now to learn my lighting better

mine isnt working? i decided to remove the wrinkles after making multiple other edits. will it not work if you have a copy of the background layer above the other layers you edited and then build the low high frequency seperation.

This is great. The problem I have is that when I use the mixer brush, it doesn't do anything. It does not show any changed effect on the low-frequency layer. Please help

Fantastic. Thanks a lot. However, my question is how do you export it as a one, single image after all of this is done? Do you somehow combine all the layers back?

it kinda worked for my image but not too much. I had a plaid shirt with lots of wrinkles and folds and texture. BTW your mother is beautiful: )

This is great! Is there a tutorial or way to do the opposite? That is - remove the bigger folds instead of focusing on the small wrinkles?
