we will discuss both the photography and the retouching of the watch and take you through the complete workflow. By using natural light and reflectors made of paper, and things like mouse pads as backdrops, with the right camera settings, we definitely can create really impressive product images. Once in Lightroom and Photoshop, we will improve the light, remove the dust, scratches, and wrinkles. We will also learn how to use frequency separation for removing creases and uneven tones on the watch leather. Finally, to extra oomph to the photo, we will dodge and burn

Unmesh, I've wondered this in a few recent videos where you've talked about setting the clone stamp or healing brush source to All Layers -- you do know that Current & Below includes all visible layers below the current layer, right? So, in this case, when working on the top layer, there is no effect to using All Layers. The difference mainly comes when you do color grading before pixel manipulation. In this case, you might create curves, levels, HSL layers at the top setting the target color, then go back and add lower layers to do retouching below the color grading, allowing you to see your final image while you do retouching, but allowing you to later change the colors without messing up the retouching. In this case, you want your healing tools to work on all the retouching layers, but not the color layers above, so Current & Below is different than All Layers -- in this video, they would have been the same.

Another great video, Im getting more and more into still life. Unmesh, do you know a way of getting the Nik Filters working in Photoshop 2018? If so please can you do a video on it, Ive looked on a few forums but the fixes all seem a bit hit and miss, though iMac seems to be the most successful. I work on both operating systems though and need to be able to cross over. Thanks.
