we will extensively use the Camera Raw Filter along with masking to create a dramatic black and white image. Also, we will use the Blue Filter to enhance the drama and add dimension to the picture. Then, we will learn to use Curves for impact, and dodging to create advanced lighting effects. To make the scene interesting, we will also do a little bit of compositing and replace the sky. Then, we will use blur filters to create a long exposure effect

Love your tutorials. Brilliant. But some photographers would appreciate regularly acknowledgements to the documentary photography school of thought and the ethics of how far one takes these manipulations. After all, there is another way to achieve similar effects.
Whenever possible, documentary photographers and photojournalists invest extraordinary amounts of time planning, before shooting on location to capture real moments like this using natural lighting and then turn to Photoshop only to make refinements and enhancements to the information in the frame and changes that stop far short of replacing skies or using techniques that create deceptive images.
Making truthful, documentary photographs requires using technology more judiciously and thoughtfully and considering how far to take such alterations. Its another way of thinking and working that deserves attention in an increasingly chaotic world of fake news and fake views. Some occasional context, please. Still, a great tutorial.

gorgeous picture retouching. super tuto covering all topics at once, including blendif, path blur. I am fan of such dramatic deep BW. personnally i use sylver efex pro 2 from photoshop for the BW part but can use all your methods same ways.
by the way, why did you use camera raw for BW instead of photoshop BW filter or, better, gradient map? camera raw is not so powerful for BW (better now with profiles however.

I would like to see you go over the procedure of taking an iPhone image into PS and resizing it for print at 300ppi and say 10 inches x 13 inches. That seems rather simple, but I seem to get a less then high quality image after the resizing. An example image out of my cell phone is 72 dpi and is 3024x4032 pixels. Is it possible for you to produce a video on printing cell phone images? Thanks

Excellent my only negative about watching your videos is that you have too many Ads I know you want to make money but iit interrupts somuch of the beautiful tutorials you're doing and it makes me wanna click somewhere else so I just want you to take that into consideration maybe just put two instead of 3 or 4 too much on a tutorial.
