Hi! Great video!
But I've got a question. When you save it in Ps format, is it saved as a 3D or 2D image?
I'll explain. If I import the Ps file in After Effects, will it be 3D or 2D? I mean, if I, for example, add a camera view and then move it from left to right (or somehow, will the Ps layers (wall and girl) interact with each other, or they will behave as a single 2D image? Hope you understand what I mean; ) Thanks.

Help. Nietzsche said that patience was the most difficult of all the virtues. I agree. Your instructions are spot on. However once I have selected the wall bump layer in the layers panel and the 3D panel the options are different in my Properties panel as to yours. There are only Base Color and Interior color. The Diffuse and specular are not there. Any clues?

Hi, congratulations for this exceptional video!
I have a problem, I tried to do what described in the video in Photoshop2020 but the result is very far from what you get with the 2019 version.
Have you already tried this procedure on 2020? Can you give us guidance on how to adapt the procedure for the 2020 version? Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the tutorial. But for me, the wall as well as the subject is completely black before rendering. To take care of that I am doing glow increment in the properties. Even after that rendering gives a very very low brightness for the subject, although the wall is fine.

This one was a bit tricky for us to follow. Especially with the delay time cause by the 3D tool. We got lost, somewhere after creating the depth map. But this is not saying that was not a great tut, because it is. As he states in the very beginning, 3D is processor intensive.

You taught me very well to design 2d image into 3d. G8 work you are doing and you thus, helps me in designing my 1st project for my PC so that now i can choose any image of my liking and convert into 3d and then build desired rgb backplate for my PC by myself.
Thanks Bro.

Guru, tell me why I'm unable to resize my brush with the punctuation and comma keys. That used to always work back in the day and then it suddenly became an unstable feature. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Then it just stopped working all over. I'm on W10. PS 2020.

Hi. I like all of your 3D techniques. I would like to convert 2D surfaces to 3D, but I could not because I use photoshop CS6. Could you please show me where is the Generate Bump Map in Photoshop CS6. Thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks.

as a 3D artist i liked this tutorial which cleared thing about Photoshop 3d tools for me.
but for a photoshop common user i think this video is way to complicated. i think that a thorough 3D tutorial is essential to master those tools.
thanks for sharing! [=

Can you do this tutorial again on photoshop 2020? It seems that I dont have the same results as you but Im doing exactly the same steps as you. my wall is very dark, the subject is too and there is no shadow of the subject.
Love your work youre amazing

The shadow doesn't appear when opened to 3D. Also, when opened, black is on top of the object. How can the shadow appear, and what is the black about on the object? This is 2020 Photoshop I'm using. In the previous version the shadow would always appear.

This guy is really great at teaching Photoshop. But for the life of me, I don't understand why he is on the screen with a microphone that belongs in a recording studio.
