Great, helpful info as always! But as youre defining/generating many test patterns here, these unwanted tests create clutter. Im wondering if a dedicated video on managing and organizing patterns might be in order? And not just for patterns but for brushes, custom shapes, etc. It really sucks when all of these assets are nested in one version of PhotoShop (or other apps, and then you need to track them down when upgrading to a newer version. Ive yet to try storing them in my Creative Cloud library, but Im assuming thatd be a great place?

Learning how to create a pattern at all with Ps was enough for me. I didn't even bother to learn about creating seamless patterns because what I had already learned was already so rich with creative possibilities. Some of your videos are packed with SO Much information that a viewer doesn't even need to view the whole thing to gain some valuable Ps Knowledge. Your Destiny is to be a Teacher, my friend, whether it is about teaching Ps or something else.

thanks for the video, but unmesh pls work with free stocks or stocks that u can give out to the audience because this strip of education only copy right thing is rely disturbing generally and in this lesson particularly because what's the point of getting red of the repeating stuff like dots and stains but the word would still be shown and repeated or we gotta have a very tiring time removing it. pls put this inconsideration, thanks

Thank you very much, this is another great tutorial. As you aim with the rectangular marquee tool to select the right pixels precisely, I find it easier to set several Guides first along the edges of your future selection and then you just use the marquee tool, it will snap to the guides you created earlier. Guides are pretty forgiving and easy to move around.

The fourth way is to load the pattern into Paint Shop Pro, apply the seamless tile filter, save as psd, then load into Photoshop or whatever other image editing program you are using. Corel has had this plug-in since Corel Draw 4, and there is no quick solution with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Using the offset filter is a kludge, at best.

This is a really helpful video, thank you! I am killing myself trying to make a custom image I made for a client seamless. It is a liquid effect image. Are there some images that just cannot be made seamless? Do you have any advice? HELLLLLLLLLP!

its a great feature, but having f. e. a pattern out a seperated photo scaled down 20% your photoshop is going slow for eternaty, its not to handle any more. I tried it out with various photoshop versions - the problem stays.

Hi Unmesh, I've been watching your tutorials from quite a long time now. They are really awesome. But I would like to give a suggestion which is that if your videos could be a little shorter then it would be perfect.

Unmesh is best among all photoshop tutors. Some of them try to hide some actions apparently. The way unmesh explains is fantastic. You will get his lessons no matter how less or more you know Photoshop.

He picks topics that are really good but I find him annoyingly detailed stretching the topics too a point that would overwhelm anyone, especially anyone who is trying to learn photoshop.

Your tutorials are great as always.
But there is one point to note in the 2nd example, around 11: 40, you can see wood texture is not smooth.

Fantastic tutorial, even if your studio's background is not perfectly seamless.
I'm joking, thank you for your amazing videos.
