I think there are easier ways to do most of the examples (with or without the clone tool) but my only actual complaint is in the 3rd and 4th example you imply that you have to copy a layer to use blend modes, which is not the case. You just have to change the mode of the layer instead of the brush. There are times when the healing brush acts funky on a transparent layer but the clone tool always behaves as expected.

The clone stamp tool is probably one of the most used by anyone doing virtual photography in virtual worlds such as Second Life, like myself. You run into so many issues where 3D meshes/models and textures will intersect--cause clipping . So it's often part of the process to clean it up.

Thanks! Great tricks I can use. I'm on a PC, when i hold alt-shift-bracket, it just bonks the bell. Alt-shift_ arrow keys will move the preview. What am I missing?

I dont use AI from Photoshop, so this would be a terrible idea if they remove clone and healing brush. who else would be upset if they remove the clone tool

I tried to use generative fill on an insect eye and apparently fly compound eye , breaks the guidelines???? I used the clone stamp instead.
