Thank you for another easy to follow review... There is one new thing that is not mentioned and it's in fact a bad one.
When using the remove tool and remove after each stroke is checked a fixed pop up progress box shows up in the middle top of the screen every time. It's invasive and distracting and you can't reposition it out of the way. Before, there was a small floatingspinning circles progress which was small enough not to be a distraction. The big bozwoukd only show up if the selection was complex and it would take longer to process and it could be moved anywhere on the screen if u wanted to.
I already posted this on the Adobe community page...
Time for a new GUI and new ways to get rid of big boxes which are always in the way, specially for small screen users.
The options bar is usually empty on top. I suggest to use it to show progress, contextual menus and more.
Cheers!

I was using the watercolor effect as above in the current release with good success, but this same technique fails in the current beta version. When I generate any type of image - watercolor, oil pain etc. I get a large grungy square shape in place of the processed image. I even matched my 'preferences' between the two versions, but the beta version always fails. I think there is a bug in the beta version for this new brush. ...Even using the older method of creating a quick-mask fails.

Unmesh never disappoints his viewers both with his teaching and his sarcasam. I was Literally waiting for him to say the jack sparrow version, you know how to treat your viewers. People migth take the subscription if the price is bearable but if photoshop has only one intention of gain as much as from the customers these kind of things like captain jacksparrows are inevitable.

It's so dissapointing to see such a big focus on generating things. I have a camera, I've already generated the image, I personally don't need all this fake stuff in my photos. In the meantime, the usability of this tool is awful, making things that are simple sliders in other tools a pain to do here (for example the luma masking or the color grading from Capture One).

Love your videos, they are the best in detailed videos I’ve seen. The next thing Adobe need to facelift is their stingy generative credit system. 1,000 tokens or credits is not enough if you’re using all sorts of AI projects and services that they offer. They are expensive enough as it is so they should really start being competitive with their credit system

Unmesh, thanks for another great video. Mate, help: how do you achieve such fine control of sliders when using your Wacom If I drag a slider to say 20, in the act of lifting the stylus, it can jump to say 35 (just using random numbers, the point being that I can’t lift the stylus without moving the slider from the position I want).

I've been following you for what must be years now and have always been impressed with the knowledge you have and how you explain techniques and tips by example rather than just talking about them - action speaks louder than words. Thank you Unmesh for your excellent videos!

Updated the other day. The new features are great. But, they still haven’t fixed the broken artboards. When working with artboards when moving them are copying them photoshop will freeze for around 30 seconds and then just dump the artboard in a random place!

I work with Photoshop since 1995 and from my perspective they have reached their peak around ten years ago.
Since then the former flagship of photoediting gets more and more cluttered and diluted.

WHAT! When did you switch to Mac I thought you were a die hard Windows user. I’d love to watch a video of why you switched, and what you switched to. Also any lessons you learned along the way.

While generative fill is useful the censorship is not , and I am not talking about making porn. For many of us Photoshop is a professional work tool and limiting it makes it a toy instead.

Is there an enhance button on the generations using the firefly controls Also because firefly is 2k will we be less frustrated with the generated pixelation

So you still need to click at least twice to change the color of a fill or stroke, regarding contextual bar (or even the properties tab). Mad. MAAAD!

it's weird that a simple version of the adjustment brutish took to long to go into photohsop considering it's been in lightroom for a long time.

adobe needs to come up to speed with the rest of the AI generators out there. everything does a much better job than generative fill does now
