Hi my fav photoshop tutor Unmesh. Silly question but you always use your Dell. Ima HP Pavilion Fan. What spec your dell or whats the optimum spec (min spec users act need to be comfortable with no lag) for PS and LR. as I run both multiple instances my laptop is slow it seems esp when running LIQ and morph photos taken with a 22mp?

Unmesh, I whole heartedly agree with one of the earlier comments in that you have made a very daunting tool fun to use. Your empathy with us lesser Photoshop mortals makes learning fun and they say if you cannot explain something simply then you do not know your topic; well you can and do. Thank you so much.

Unmesh, in liquify (shift-command X to open liquify) you will find a tic box in the main right panel at the top called PIN EDGES. This will prevent the formation of that canvas edge gap you had to correct. It works very well. Thank you so much for your fabulous video!

In 2021 the Preview checkboxes still works, when you press the spacebar, as in the video! So frustrating and annyoing! It's a shame Adobe still haven't changed the behaviour of the Liquify window in 2021!

the edge gaps i usually fix in the end just by using history brush, most natural way i guess, however the biggest problem with liquify for me is that sharp egges becomes often blurry

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I'm still a novice, but learning a lot. If I start out in Lightroom and then open the image in PS, do I still convert the layer to a smart object?

I don't think of it so much as a thick liquid as photoshop puts everything on a mesh and allows the photoshop guru to unmesh it.
