I show you how to enable the dark mode or dark theme for just about every website. As we all know, looking at a computer monitor can be hard on your eyes, especially when viewing websites that have mostly black text on a white background. In an earlier video, I showed you how to enable the dark mode for YouTube. In this video, I ll show you how to enable the dedicated dark modes for Twitter, Reddit and DuckDuckGo, along with a cool browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that will give any website you visit a dark theme that s easier on the eyes.

Thank you, I have Glaocoma and I told Microsoft a few years ago to put a dark mode to be able to read better and less stress on the eyes for everyone. The never got back to me but at least they put one. I even talked about all the Web sites to, but like I sayed never got back to me after many emails and tweets.

I got news dark mode for Firefox is CRAP. It messed with my pc something awful. Not only that but it screwed up my dark mode on YouTube. Now I cant turn the dark mode for YouTube off even after turning dark mode off in Firefox. Also it makes it almost impossible to read what I'm typing right now.

I have a 32 4K monitor and my god it kills your eyes to have every website background in blaring bright white. At least YouTube has a quick option for dark mode. However I want a default option in every browser to be able to darken the unused dead space on every single website. It's maddening!

Great piece of information but it will slow down your access to a lot of websites....Also....when you have the dark mode on when your making ( on youtube) a comment with the setting on default...you wont see what your typing...Other than that...its a lot easier on your eyes.

Thank you so much! I suffer from migraine and for a long time I needed to have the dark mode. I do not know how to write very well in English so I'm using the Google Translator to thank you. Greetings from Uruguay!

I have cataracts, on top of already being legally blind. Dark mode makes computer reading much more easy on the eye. I wish more sites, as well as apps offered true, native dark mode. Thanks for the video.

Do one at a time. A video for youtube dark theme. not everything out there. too many things to watch and then confusing. if you can put all your attention to wait until you start the one for YOUTUBE.

Great info. The biggest problem I have is the light gray text that is being used so much on the web. Does Dark Reader convert that to just white also, or does it only work on black text? Thanks.

How do you force EVERY website's background to be black in chrome??!?!?? Dark mode is on, but google chrome search results and multiple web pages still show up with a blinding white background?

I am flying blind here as Dark Mode does not allow me to actually see what I am writing in Youtube. Is there away around this? If not I will, unfortunately, have to go back to the old way.
