So I used to use and like Firefox. Then, one day, it wouldn't load anymore. i never ever could figure out why. I despaired. I despaired some more, until I jumped to...Chrome. faster, better, unbloated. Never looked back. Yet another great google product. But After screwing up and doing imports of my previous bookmarks, thousands of em, I ended up with a bookmark organisational nightmare. I had repeats and copied folders all over the place. Even right after booking a new bookmark, I couldn't find it! So, I got down to it, spent hours, days, cleaning up the system. I reorganized all this mess into a cohesive and highly functional, simple bookmark setup. It worked. i was happy. Being a muso and using this browser to get organised, I was very happy again. But, About a week later, rebooting my pc, to my HORROR, not only was there a previous version of all these bookmarks, but it was, like, really old! I was not only back to square one, I was at square minus 1!! I am not sure how this happened, but I think , maybe, I linked it to the cloud unknowingly , whereas before it wasn't. Not sure. All I know is I experienced a massive disappointment. Still reeling from it as I relied so heavily on this system. So, from Firefox, to Chrome, and now, I will try Opera. Let's see how long that one will last. And, since Opera ain't by google, there will likely be far, far less tracking as I also use duck duck go as a search engine, which I always felt was maybe a little redundant since I was with...chrome.

For me, Chrome and Firefox are too 'generic' too 'standard': Sure, they score high in HTML tests and are fast enough......but are very 'uncustomizable' compared to browsers which use same engines -whether they be Palemoon, Opera, Vivaldi, and others. For me, sheer amount of 'options' and 'customizations' is EVERYTHING, FAR more important than HTML tests. I used to be an extreme die-hard Opera-connoiseur until 5 years ago or more --when Opera did a complete overhaul.....and basically discarded all their originality and uniqueness and became a Google Chrome clone. Ironically, and moronically, once Opera became nothing more than a 'clone' of Google Chrome, they became far more popular than ever. At this same time, Opera got rid of their 'bookmarks' in lieu of 'speed tabs.' I haven't used Opera since. Bookmark customization is EVERYTHING to me. I've been using Palemoon (a Firefox Clone) and SeaMonkey (developers of the original and now long-obsolete Netscape team) off and on mostly for the past 6 years or so. Both browsers have tons of customization options, including the ability to make the interface very 'intelligent'-looking and bookmark customization. To have a browser whose interface looks clean and intellectual (not like it was designed by a pre-teen) is far more important to me, once again, than HTML tests and other tests -which Chrome and Firefox do excel at......but they suck at customization.

Vivaldi was touted as the replacement for the no longer developed Opera 12x version. I miss Opera 12x and Vivaldi brings back many of it's functions. Although not anywhere near as robust as the old Opera 12x, Vivaldi provides a lot of functionality that the new Google Chrome and Opera no longer provide. Vivaldi launches pretty fast, for me, and it's quite configurable. There are numerous plug-ins for Vivaldi as it is a Chrome-based browser so you use the same Google Chrome plug-in/extension website to install them. I'm liking this browser more and more as the development of it is ongoing at a pretty good pace. While not number one in browsers that I use, Vivaldi is number two for me. The number one spot is Chrome and, yes, it is a huge resource hog but it's main reason for being popular is that it launches almost instantly and webpages, too, load almost instantly. Response is what most people look at when choosing a web browser and Google Chrome offers that. The downfall, though, is that it is plain, too simplistic and not many options to configure for it. If you haven't tried Vivaldi, I strongly suggest you give it a try as I believe you'll be just as impressed as I am.

I tried this new bowser called Firefox Focus and love it. I love how it is super fast and it always is private. I think this is just as fast as chrome can be from my comparison's and tests. I never thought Firefox would come out with a browser I would rate 10/10, but I think this one is. Things are already not signed into when you switch to private mode in safari and incognito mode in chrome so its fine with me that it does not save usernames and passwords. I hope a lot of people who own an android or ios tries this browser out. Sure the original Firefox is not that great, but this ios and adriod browser is worth trying out I think. I recommend using this app without having the features of it added to safari because this browser if faster itself.

Very nice video, but IMO you fail to weigh in enough about Google's intrusive nature. I do find Chrome the best, fastest, most convenient, but I can no longer stomach their invasiveness. I was a long-time Firefox user but switched to Chrome many years ago when FF started freezing and crashing on me all the time. I have been trying Brave, and revisiting FF again for the past few months. Neither is cutting it for me. Time to try Opera again. I had it on my old computer, but since I loved Chrome I had never put it on my newer computer. I do use it on my mobile devices. I do like Edge when I use it, but I think it has the same privacy issues as Chrome. That is as big factor for me.

I found Opera new for me on PC, because I use it also on mobile device. And I dont like Chrome on mobile device. So I tested Opera new for me on PC and it works better as Google Chrome. Because Google Chrome have much Freezes when I use too much Tabs in the Browser :/ So I also see that in the Task Mager, that every Tab is an extra process thats makes the PC slower and Opera didn't do it on my PC. So it's better as Google Chrome and I can also use with an extra extention Google Chrome extrentions in Opera and it's nice that this works for me. So I have an better Google Chrome that runs faster and loads the pages faster.

On windows 10, Edge is the best browser and it ain't close. If you want a browser with smooth scrolling (not jerky), only Edge will do this. Also, the speed Edge has is pretty much instant on most sites. It used to be a little slower but now it is instant. Way faster than Chrome. Edge also has 1080p support for Netflix, and 4k. Chrome is 720p. Every fan boy out there is going to pick Chrome because of fierce loyalty and extensions that nobody uses. Here's another thing thing: bing is just as good as google, except for google maps and probably shopping. But for most stuff bing is just as good if not better.

If you like highly personalized, powerful browser, Vivaldi is the one for you, especially if you are Windows 10 user. It is fast, visually appealing and very smart with potential of being even better. Once I have experienced driving Vivaldi Browser, I would never go back to minimalistic mainstream browsers like Firefox, Edge with exception of Google Chrome which is not that customizable as Vivaldi is. Stable version has been just released, but without Flash, which can be downloaded from Chrome Web Store.

I stopped using Google Chrome A LONG time ago. I read more than one article that stated Google sends info the the Gov't. This is not a secure browser and finding it hard pressed to find a browser which is fast, safe and secure and does not send info to the Fed Gov't. I was hoping you would have other browsers which may be unknown but, you covered the mainstream ones with you having Chrome as the number one, considering YouTube is owned by...(drum roll please)...Google.
