Great video with some interesting features I wasn't aware of, but Windows 10 is a prick of a program. The worst thing I ever did was migrate from Windows 7. Both being the 64 bit versions. With Win 10 I find: 1) I am no longer able to configure how different files types are displayed in File Explorer. Yes, I know it is supposed to work, and it worked brilliantly until after the first several updates but now Win 10 insists on overriding the settings I create. 2) Speaking of updates, each time it performed an update I lost another feature. I thought the word 'update' in the context of software meant an improvement, but then I forgot we are talking Microsoft - it would seem they have redefined the word. I have now turned off all updates. I'll stick with what I have as it is at least working even if poorly. 3) When using File Explorer, Win 10 determines for me where it will position the active location of the 'cursor' in the list of files. There have been far too many instances where I have been part way through renaming a file only to have the listing jump t the top of the list and I lose my editing. Or, when searching through the list, it will quite independently jump to the top of the list so apparently what I am trying to do is unimportant. 4) I have a hot swap bay for eSATA HDDs, discs one would normally consider internal drives, in the PC which worked brilliantly under Win 7. Just like using the old floppy discs. Now, under Win 10 to switch between drives, I have to power the PC off, remove the current disc from the bay, insert another and then re-power the PC. So far it is the only way I've found to get Win 10 to recognise the HDD in the hot swap bay. So much for the convenience of hot swap. Thank you Microsoft for removing a brilliant feature. I now have 1Tb, 2Tb, and 3Tb discs which, while not useless, are not as convenient to use! Fortunately I haven't 'lost' the data on them. 5) the PC regularly locks up and I have to hit the reset button. 6) I have a Logitech G15 (from memory) gaming keyboard. Yes, it is a little old now but was working fine under Win 7. Now, on more than 50% of occasions when I power on, the system does not recognise the keyboard. Everything else is fine. In every instance (so far), a reboot of the PC results in recognition of the keyboard - thankfully. 7) I am running an 8Gb Radeon (from memory) video card. It is less than 2 years old. Under Win 10 I regularly get a black screen (in fact both screens) for up to 15 seconds. Everything else is working fine. This is often, but not always, a warning the PC is about to lock up. And many more other issues. If it wasn't for the fact it took me 3 days to reconfigure the PC and performing the way I wanted with the new Win 10 install (it was a completely new install with new version of Office on a new primary C drive) I would go back to Win 7.

If you know what you are doing you can get Windows 10 to be almost identical to 7 and make it nearly as easy to use as well. I held off on switching until last year after 10's disaster of a beta release because I needed DirectX 12 for some games but if you don't play games? Stick with 7. But damn, that's right, they stopped support it with security updates for 7 after late January. So switch to 10 and find out how to make it's UI as much like 7's as possible or switch to Linux, which could be a nightmare but Linux is incredibly more secure and has next to no malware. Reason UK banks and such use it

hey wanna ask, I see that your overall screen look fast (like playing a game in 60 fps), I mean like the cursor moving fast and when you shift folder to left & right seems fast as well. I'm just curious, is this also something that you can customize or is this related to your laptop or PC specs kinda thing? cause mine looks slow and not attractive haha -_-, btw this video is been so helpful, thx.

2:30 you can also set your print screen button as the screen snipping button under settings - ease of access - Keyboard (under the interaction heading) can also be found by going to the start menu, typing print screen then clicking on the use the print screen key to launch screen snipping

14:38 THIS was the MOST helpful tip I got out of this video! Thank you SOOOO much!!! It's been such an annoying pet peeve of mine that the file explorer doesn't go straight to This PC and it always got under my skin. I never knew it could be changed. MUCH appreciated man!

Just upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate into Windows 10. I can say they've overdone it wow. and it is for FREE! For those people having doubt if pirated windows can be upgraded, the answer is YES and you'll be given a legit copy of it free of charge.

Good demonstration video, so thanks for posting. I've been on the fence about switching from macOS to Windows, and this video helped. I have physical limitations, so the dictation feature with improvements is useful to know.

Wow way jealous that your desktop right click function works. I think I've tried everything I can find and still just get the spinning wheel and then nothing 99% of the time. Sucks because it's a very handy and basic tool.

Finally a decent video, for us old school windows users, I now know of stuff that I can do, to be more productive and make better use of my time doing what I m supposed to be doing and not fiddling around in Windows forever
