I use Handbrake constantly. It s a very good piece of software. I don t like the newer UI over it s previous major version as. The previous version had every single video and audio file type in a menu down the right-hand side of the main window. In the new version it can be a bit elusive to find the same file settings the previous version openly showcased. On the whole though, it s fantastic. Well worth recommending over others, especially Freemake which likes to put their logo at the end of a converted video in the free version. I ve tried using Olive and it certainly is lacking in many features that other video editors have, but it is still is in Alpha so I do hope to see more feature to knock the overpriced big leagues off their high horses.

rufus like many others ask to format your external drive; Yumi doesn;t need that and even have listed lots of pre-known ISOs o that user can find/download those files easy. easybcd does support making bootable without formatting but I've seen some issues that from time to time that pops up. also for the release of windows,I strongly suggest Oprekin win10 lite plus version which although is lite but not to the extent of giving errors and etc... you just need to install AIO runtime/directx/.Net framework and you are good to go with fastest win10 release without bloatware.

I used Shotcut some months ago and it crashed at some slice and delete operations too often. Another great choice for free video editing is the free version of DaVinci Resolve. I know it's said to have high GPU requirements, but mine isn't great (2GB VRAM, a quarter of what I read recommended as minimum) and it runs very well on it. Granted I don't do anything specially advanced, so it can simply be I'm not asking it to do anything that asks much of the GPU. And you can do a lot of things with it, paid version is needed for a few very advanced things.

Not open source but if you are doing video editing at NO COST, there is really only one best option. That is BlackMagic Design's DaVinci Resolve. It is by far the best video editor I have ever used. It also doubles as a high end video compositor. Second on my list of favorites is Hitfilm Express, its a light weight video editor that also doubles as a close of After Effects. It is not nearly as good as Resolve, but it is still a great option for video editing and compositing in one.

We've read Bitwarden information to compare these claims: - Apps are all GPLv3 - Server is AGPLv3!!! REALLY?! NO WAY!!! - wait. what is this enterprise version??? Ok that concludes the search of this journey. we're going to abandon Google Password Manager slowly but sure. wait! I was wrong! to use Security Key, you must pay. oh no. therefore, if you have to 2FA, you can only choose app, or email if not pay. but KeePass has something...

For videos: VLC For Audio Editing: Audacity For USB bootable drives: Yumi For Text file editor: Notepad++ For Browser: Brave (adblocking is the best out there) For AdBlocker: SmartAdBlocker For Maintenance: Cclearner (good if they stop hacking it all of the time) For 3D Graphical work: Blender (also have video editor) For Torrents: qBittorent All of that is my personal preferences.

Regarding Olive. I've been using NLE's for years. Have been waiting for an alternative to updating Vegas Pro every couple of years. The number of projects that started with the same goal as Olive are legion. What usually happens is at about the 3-5 year point the developers get tired and give up. I wouldn't pin a lot of hope on it until it makes it past that stage.

A great Free alternative to Rufus is Etcher, it is cross patform (Mac, Linux, & Windows) It also contains a very unique feature that rufus or other USB/ISO apps don't. Etcher is great and allows you to even create a botable Mac OS DMG on Windows or Linux just like any other ISO, so if your Mac were to crash you can make a bootable USB stick on a PC with Etcher.

Isn t it easier to get hacked if using a open source password manager instead of proprietary one. Since it s open source its clear to everyone how it stores data even for the hacker. I actually use the Mac s built in password manager. Although it s very primitive and lacks many modern security features I think it s safe enough for average internet users.
